Hey all!

Can I buy a Boone or something to gift to another PC for helping me out that would cause them to have like a 5-20% increase in EXP awarded at the end of one thread? If so can I get a price check for this?

Likewise, am I allowed to request a direct transfer of GP from my account to theirs?

On this occasion I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you, unfortunately. EXP boosts of any usage limit are not purchasable from the Bazaar I'm afraid, nor allowable as an ability.

I can still do a simple GP transfer from one account to the other, so if you want that then please let me know and I'll handle it.

Sorry it took me some time to get back to you on this.

I've had a look through the historical rules and guides, and there doesn't seem to be any precedent for either doing or not doing this. That being so, I've decided to allow a transfer on the following conditions as a "one off" until I can sit down with Philomel and we make a proper rule on it.

1. Any transfer of EXP must not exceed an amount that would level your character down past an approved level. So, in your case, you would be limited to only transferring EXP you've earned since being approved at level 8.

2. You MUST NOT, under any circumstances, transfer ANY EXP to an alt.

If you're cool with this, and Philomel doesn't disagree, then it should be fine.

I don't see why not, but something to think about would be the cost.

Due to the way we calculate spoils, the GP enhancement would be classed as a high level enchantment of masterwork quality and that would add a (1.5x + 2.5x) multiplier to the price of it. It would mean that it would almost certainly cost you all of your earned thread GP, some of your experience and then possibly a bit out of your account too, depending on the base material of the item.

The other option is to put a GP enhancing ability into your next update, which will cost you nothing except TPL and time. As a precedent, we never allow a GP enhancing ability to produce more than a 20% bonus.
