Name: Tenedos Starkk
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral
Occupation: Former Coronian Ranger, former Brotherhood Reaver

Appearance

Tenedos Starkk is a Caucasian man, with long brown hair and blue eyes. Standing around five foot eleven inches and weighing around a hundred and ninety pounds, he is tall, lithe and notably athletic looking, with toned but slim muscles around his arms and legs.

He dresses in the attire of his clan – sporting a dark blue robe and pantaloons, tied around the midriff with a brown silk sash and belt. His hands are covered with fingerless leather gloves, and his feet are clothed in brown leather boots.

Weapons

Vita & Mors

An identical pair of short Falchion swords, forged from Iron. Each of the blades has a white cutting edge, with a navy blue core adorned with runes etched in gold leaf. The grips are bound with black cord, and each of the Falchion has a white wolf’s head carved into each pommel.

Abilities

Lightning Seed

Once per thread, Tenedos can imbue Vita and Mors with lightning elemental magic to electrify the blades. Should the Falchions make contact with base skin, they cause an electric shock that can potentially give the recipient painful burns and muscular contractions. The voltage can be adjusted by Tenedos accordingly, which will moderate the output to cause a simple stun (low voltage) or with the intent to cause injury (high voltage).

The electrification of Vita and Mors naturally lasts a couple of hours, but can be cancelled by Tenedos “earthing” the blades himself. They can also be earthed by making contact with soil and sand, or by using the ability Magnesium Flare or Electrical Absorption.

Magnesium Flare

After activating Lightning Seed, Tenedos can use the electrical energy stored in Vita and Mors’s edges to loose a blast of bright, crescent-shaped lightning from the blades themselves. The Magnesium Flare can travel up to a hundred yards and impacts with enough force to fracture unprotected bones or dent steel, becoming weaker by 50% after fifty yards of travel. The Magnesium Flare deactivates Lightning Seed on use.

Electrical Absorption

Tenedos has the ability to absorb electricity into his body to heal minor to medium wounds. He can either do this by absorbing the electricity from Vita and Mors after activating Lightning Seed, or can use another source of electrical energy provided the source is not overwhelming. He cannot absorb electricity from magic cast by anyone above his level.

Tenedos can only absorb electricity ro heal once per thread, and the healing effect takes three seconds to complete.

Background

Tenedos Starkk was an orphan who spent most of his life being brought up, trained by and eventually serving in the Coronian Rangers. After retiring from the Rangers and opening a smithy at age 25, he was approached by a recruiting officer for the Brotherhood of the Castigars, who were looking for talented individuals to join their ranks and citing corruption in Radasanth’s assembly as a motive for the recruitment drive. Tenedos, having seen plenty of corruption in his time in Corone, decided to join as a rank and file soldier and soon found himself being deployed on special missions due to his talents with electricity, and his exceptional swordsmanship.

It wasn’t long before Tenedos was promoted to the Reavers – a special forces division of the Brotherhood led by Durandel – and he spent the next five years of his life undertaking assassinations, undertaking covert operations and eventually culminated his efforts at Shinsou Vaan Osiris and Storm Veritas’s Siege of Radasanth, where he distinguished himself with honour. Eventually, though, the young man started to doubt his leader, Durandel, who managed to escape Whitevale’s destruction at the hands of Arius Mephisto by bargaining the Brotherhood town’s lives for their own and turning against the leadership. Disgusted with the actions of his commanding officer for sacrificing their hometown and thousands of innocent lives, Tenedos ignored orders from Durandel to kill Shinsou Vaan Osiris and Storm Veritas, and instead watched the Durandel-led Reaver assault upon them fail from the treeline.

Renouncing his Reaver creed, Tenedos left the Brotherhood and set himself for Scara Brae, in hopes of setting up a new life.
