Concept
The Imperial Mana Reactor is an android, a robot with a human form. Its power source is a mana reactor. To power its engine, the Imperial Mana Reactor must take life. Specifically, the IMR (Imperial Mana Reactor) inserts living creatures into the fuel input chute in its chest. The magic lifeforce, i.e. mana, is sucked from creature as the bladed turbines slice it to pieces. The mana then courses through its artificial veins. Meanwhile, the waste product—blood, ground bones, and flesh paste—is expelled via the exhaust.
Appearance
As mentioned, the Imperial Mana Reactor has a human shape, but could not be mistaken for a human. Its internal mechanics are hidden by an outer shell of soft metals: brass, aluminum and oxidized copper. The Imperial Mana Reactor's vision receptors glow white, taking the role of eyes. Meanwhile, the rest of its face lacks human features—no nose, no mouth, no ears, no expression.
History
The complete history of the Imperial Mana Reactor's origins are unknown. It is thought to have been created in a Radasanth lab, and is certainly affiliated with the Coronean Imperials. The Imperial Mana Reactor's manner and intellect are human-like, making the robot an apt associate. The mechanics of the Imperial Mana Reactor's brain, consciousness, etc. are utterly mysterious.
Abilities
Power the Engine - The Imperial Mana Reactor must insert a living creature into its fuel input chute otherwise it will run out of power. A small animal, a mouse for example, will power the Mana Reactor for 5 posts. A larger animal, e.g. a fox, would power the Mana Reactor for 10 posts.
Mana Drain - Lessens the power of an opponent's magical spells by 25%. Additionally, absorbs the 25% of energy for itself, meaning that its engine will be powered for 5 posts.
Skin Melt - From a distance of 10 feet, the Imperial Mana Reactor is able to manipulate the life energy within its opponent's flesh, causing the skin on their back to heat, bubble, and melt. This ability can only be used once per thread.
Combat - The Imperial Mana Reactor's creator programmed it with basic combat techniques.
