Hello everyone!
As you can probably tell, it has been a particularly busy month for Althanas. We've had the 2021 Althy Awards, where we honoured the exploits of our hardworking members and staff over the year. We've also inducted the first ever Hall of Famers, Ithermoss and Storm Veritas!
What more could we possibly offer you?
Well, there is the small issue of the third and final Hall of Fame nomination of 2021. The voting finishes tomorrow, so please make sure you register your choice by following this link (https://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php/2923-Althanas-Hall-of-Fame-2021-Results) before you lose the opportunity forever! The winner will be announced after the voting has closed.
Then, of course, we have the Adventurer's Crown to look forward to! It has been four (yes, four) years since our last full tournament, and this one promises to be a hit. Whether you are a newcomer to the site, or a time served veteran, our premium quest based tournmant is open and recommended to everybody! This one will be based in Alerar and the prompt for it will be revealed on 4th December 2021. Keep your eyes peeled!

We expect the tournament to span three rounds of two weeks each, and there will be amazing rewards for the top three finishers, as well as normal rewards given for any completed threads during the tournament itself. There is still plenty of space for those interested!
Finally, on a significantly duller and more annoying note, most of you will notice the site's SSL certificate has expired, throwing up some unsavoury looking warnings. Please ignore these: click on "advanced" and "trust Althanas" to get to the site proper. Max Dirks is currently looking into this and we will hopefully have it resolved soon.
