Thread is being revamped! This is now: Illuminated Garden!
You awaken to find yourself in the midst of tall hedges, looming fifteen feet into the air above you. The hedges seem thick, almost impassible - but a passage through them extends in front and behind you. A few yards away behind you is a ninety-degree corner, and the path continues out of sight in that direction. Ahead of you, approximately five yards away, is a 't'-junction, with paths leading off the left and the right. This place is surprisingly well lit - thaniks to the hedges themselves, which seem to have some sort of phosphorescent reaction occurring within. In the distance, you can hear several sounds - shuffling, snuffling, heavy breathing. And very, very faintly, sobbing.
