Personality:
Stubborn, headstrong, and opinionated. Katya is by nature a violent individual. She refuses to compromise, is stiff necked, and refuses to see any other works view aside her own. She is very proud of her position as a Witch Hunter and claims she will burn all the witches for the Glory of the Ethereal Sway - though she really just does this for personal vengeance. Katya is a chaotic individual, yet also refined and controlled. She seeks out the thrill of the hunt and is unphased by gruesome violence, a biproduct of early childhood trauma. Katya is hard to get along with, and really doesn't like to get along with anyone. She has her goals, and anyone who disagrees is her enemy. Katya can still form friendships and attachments, such as with the mother she would give her life for. Katya is deeply loyal in the few friendships she has, though she shows her care through practical means instead of fluffy words or hugs. Katya likes to believe she is a good person fighting for the right cause, though she is prideful and arrogant in the same fights.

History:
Katya Violetta was born in Salvar to an aloof father and gentle mother. Nadya Violetta was a sweet and soft woman who revered the Ethereal Sway. Her father, however, was distant and... paranoid... it was soon discovered why. He was the member of a witch cult. He had become so corrupted, he tried to kill Nadya and Katya in the night. Nadya managed to kill the dark magic user with a kitchen knife, but mother and daughter were both traumatized.
Nadya turned to the Church of the Ethereal Sway, becoming a dedicated member and maid before chasing the role of a priestess. Since she was five, Katya practically grew up in the church and their teachings. While Nadya followed the path of a healer, however, Katya had a deep pain and hatred within her. As soon as she was old enough, the church servant signed up to be a monster hunter. After eight years of intense training and teaching, she finally became one.
Katya would burn out the sickly flame of magic from Salvar, and prevent people like her father from rising to power.
