Amarose is a Dusk Elf that was wounded by an unknown enemy. The enemy was certainly no elf so she didn't know what to make of it. She ran through the wilderness surrounding Stonevale looking for anywhere she could hide long enough to tend to her wounds. She had trouble finding anything close though so she ended up collapsing near a river bank
Brokenthorn Forest...
It was a Tuesday. The wind came in off the west. One man who was sitting on a tree nearby to the woman's position was a man named Elthas Belthasar. He was taking a small nap atop of the tree when the scent of blood touched his hyper sensitive nostrils. His nostrils flared up for a moment and he awoke. He adjusted his hat, his fedora hat, and skillfully leaped off the tree. Landing in a balanced way.
He adjusted himself and took a deep pull of the scent of blood he'd smelled. He knew the general direction was a nearby river that cascaded across the region of Scara Brae. He adjusted himself once more and made his way to the source of the blood...
The scent had a strangely familiar texture and quality to it.
He was a forest elf, and preferred living away from large settlements and cities.
His people were nomadic in nature and wandered the forests of their world, Althanas. He was on the move making his way towards the owner of that scent before dangerous monsters and other nocturnal horrors got to the owner of the scent first...
Amarose laid by the river struggling to mend her wounds before anything could come to her thinking she's an easy meal. Being a dusk elf, She preferred darker locations like forests and caves. But She was not in a forest or a cave. She was by a river in wide open plains. She groaned as she Sat up and her long, pointed, elven ears twitched. Someone was approaching her
Elthas walked up to her calmly. He wore fancy Elf attire, but it was cut and tailored in humanesque styles. His clothing had forest elf marks, he wore a cloak that swished about in the wind that suddenly picked up. He had green eyes and platinum coloured hair. He was incredibly athletically built for an Elf. They were usually tall and lithe, but not Elthas he was tall and muscular from physical activity. He smelled blood in the air, the scent was coming off the girl in front of him. She's hurt... He thought to himself.
He tipped his fedora hat gently in her direction in greetings. "You're hurt." He told her calmly.
"My people are nearby in a small wandering village...nomadic people we are." He explained gently. He walked up to her and looked at her carefully, he had a kind expression in his eyes, on his face. His ears were also quite long and pointy. He looked at her calmly and offered her his hand. "I'm going to pick you up and carry you to the village I am traveling with. They will help you there, we have healers."
Amarose nods and let him assist him "my name is Amarose. It's a pleasure to meet another elf. And thank you, I'll gladly take the assistance
"Amarose..." He repeated quite gently and held her close to him. She was warm and felt quite good. He spoke in a thick Radasanth accent. He was initially from Concordia Forest in Corone. He picked her up, holding her quite close. He wrapped his cloak around her gently, it was notably quite warm. He held her closely to him as he carried her. His village was located nearby in the wild lands of Scara Brae proper.
Elthas could feel blood flowing on his clothing from some of her injuries. He nodded.
"I'll get you treated as soon as possible. You can stay in my place too once you're healed." He was generally a good person, and enjoyed helping people out. Holding her closely to his body, he jogged at a decent clique back to his people's village. They were elves and built their homes usually inside of trees and the like. It was a part of their culture.
As they made their way to town, Elthas began to sing, he was a bard after all...
Amarose smiles softly and fell asleep as he sang to her. She was exhausted from her ordeal
Elthas held her close. He sang gently his voice was relaxed though he felt extremely nervous. He was concerned for her safety and well being. His arms held the woman closely to him. He massaged her hair gently. His fingers running through her hair. He held her as closely a she could. Protectively. His eyes narrowed once they arrived at his village. He made his way towards the healer's tree.
People saw him enter with the injured woman, and looks of concern were immediately on other Elve's eyes.
He immediately barged into the healer tree. "We need help here." Elthas commanded.
The healers immediately made their way towards Elthas and Ama. There were about six highly skilled healers.
Elthas placed Ama on a bed gently and watched the healers go to work..
Amarose rested as the healers start to work on her. She was covered in scratches and gashes that indicated she had fallen victim to an animal attack. A powerful animal it must be if it left that much of a Mark.
Elthas stood nearby. His arms folded across his chest as he watched the healers casually. He wore a serious expression on his face. He was very intelligent, instinctively, he looked at the healers. "Andra, those are beast wounds." He pointed out carefully. Those weren't made by a human or a human's weapons. His face was pondering the situation. He knew there were many dangerous beasts in the wild lands of Althanas...
He sighed for a moment and observed their handiwork. He was nervous for the woman's safety and well being. He began to sing for them all to help the tension of the situation calm down...he sang whenever he felt nervousness or anxiety. He sang in the forest elf language a sad and gentle song...
Amarose started waking up some time later as she looked around the temple. She was unsure where she was, but the place felt safe so she relaxed and looked at the bard that had brought her in
Elthas stood by her side the entire time, refusing food and other nourishment until she recovered. It had taken few full days and he had stood there by her side without complaining once. Once the girl began to stir, Andra, one of the healers walked up to him.
"My lord she is awakening, please take a break and eat." She begged of Elthas gently.
He sighed after a moment and looked at her. "Send her to my house when she awakens. I'll make sure she eats and I'll take good care of her." He told Andra calmly. Took a long look of the girl in the bed and smiled gently. "Come to my house once you're up and about." He told Ama. "Andra will tell you how to get there." Elthas said calmly.
He tipped his fedora hat gently to the small group and prepared to take his leave....knowing the girl was in good hands.
Amarose was a little groggy when she first woke, Shaking the feeling off as she sat up. She looked around to get her bearings as she noticed immediately her shoddy bandaging job had been replaced with cleaner and more secure wrappings. Once she had her bearings she looked at Andra to determine where the heck she was.
Those forest elves were good people if a little bit aloof.
Andra noticed the patient looking at her and she smiled. "Child you can speak freely here you are with friends." She explained calmly. "You must have a lot of questions." She stated. "I think you can see me later with regards to shoe questions you might have sweety." She said. "Elthas is waiting for you in his family house." Andra explained to her which tree it was. "When you arrive at their house, speak to his mother with respect my child." She explained. "She is a woman of significant standing for us and wise beyond her apparent years."
"No doubt Elthas himself is already waiting for you too." She said calmly. "Go no child, don't keep the Son of Halm Belthasar waiting."
Amarose nods softly and stands up to go see the bard that had carried her all this way. When She got to the tree he was living in, She spoke to his mother with respect "good morning. I'm told Elthas is waiting for me." She spoke politely and with respect. She knew a thing or two about ranks in elven societies.
Elthas's mother looked at the girl calmly and hugged her gently. "Hello dear. My son told me all about you." She chuckled. "Every bit as beautiful as he described. He's in the dining area and readied a large amount of food for you." She told Ama.
Elthas's mother was an older and jovial Elf woman she guided Ama to Elthas. "In that room. He's been waiting patiently for you to recover." She added kindly.

Elthas was humming gently to himself when he noticed his mother had brought the girl in he'd saved. He nodded and hugged her. "Glad you're up and about." He told her gently he was already eating and had been nervously waiting for her recovery. He looked at her carefully and motioned for her to grab a seat in front of him. There was an elegant table there in between them. He had a soft expression on his face and waited. "How do you fancy my family's house?" He asked kindly.
Amarose looks around at the place "It's amazing. Far better then anything my kind could build." She said "We Dusk Elves tend to reside in caves and mountain areas"
He listened to her for a long moment in silence taking in the information she revealed.
He whistled. He had not seen a Dusk Elf in many years...not since his early youth. He looked at the beautiful woman calmly and nodded. "Thank you I am certain your people make equally amazing things." He said to her calmly. "Please have a seat and eat with me. I'm a decent enough chef and I didn't know what you liked so I took liberties in preparing some dishes for you. My mother helped. So be sure to thank her later on."
He paused for a moment. "We don't oft have guests." He explained to her. "News from the outside world is always interesting." He narrowed his handsome eyes for a moment as he looked at her, carefully observing her curves and shapely good figure. "...I have to ask. What was it that hurt you in such a way if you don't mind my asking?" He was sincerely concerned about what could have hurt her and if it was a threat to his village and people...
"A pack of Wolves" She said. "Probably found myself on their hunting grounds" She reasoned
His fedora hat rested by his side nearby.
He listened carefully to her story. Nodding he knew what to do to help the girl. "Wolves attacked you?" He said with notable concern. "I'll have to put out a warning to travelers in this area. Wolves are not normally that hostile..." The concern in his voice was audible. He shook his head a moment or two later. "Please do eat and try our nectar here." He handed her a goblet with plenty of aromatic juices.
He smiled at her, he was a kind person...and sincerely wanted to help her.
