A notice from the administration team

One thing we are proud of at Althanas is our tightly knit community. This community's reach often stretches beyond the forums and onto other platforms, such as Discord, and as a result there is often a lot of positive communication and collaboration between members. We absolutely encourage this.

As a result of this, like any group of friends or family, every now and then it is likely that people are going to disagree or have a difference of opinion. This is as true in real life as it is on Althanas, especially with the current Covid crisis in mind.

For the majority of the time, Althanas members treat each other with respect and courtesy, but there have recently been occasions where passions have spilled over and tempers have flared, leading to uncomfortable exchanges in private. Some of these resulted in one or more of the administration team having to step in to speak to the members involved and try to calm the situation down.

We, as not only the custodians of the site but also as your friends, please respectfully ask that you don't take matters into your own hands when it comes to dealing with any harrassment or insults. If you have an issue with another member, please report it to one of the administrators who will deal with the matter for you.
