Hecate is a rather simple individual that gets by content with seeing the next day. Many who observe her at a glance would often mistake her as tired or lazy, but the simple reality is she dislikes working when it does not suit her. Despite that conception, she is actually quite a reserved intellect with a thirst for knowledge and the unknown. She has the curiosity of a cat when it comes to topics that interest her, primarily in regards to either magic or technology, and perks up when she feels there is something to learn. She is however also a very cautious individual, weary of those she interacts with and whether or not they will jeopardize her immediate future. She does have her moments though where her emotions might override instinct and cause her to carelessly throw herself into harm's way, though those occasions are rare. She would prefer to avoid conflict if possible but isn't averse to the idea of giving someone a thorough beating either.

A magic powered Puppet made of iron that stands at six feet tall, created by Hecate - it serves as her primary means of offense and defense in combat, fighting on her behalf. While unable to utilize any ranged attacks or magic, it is effective in delivering devastating physical blows in melee combat while being able to take a fair amount of damage. It is her bodyguard and moves with rather surprising grace and speed despite being a machine, almost as if it were a living, breathing human.

| Tinkerer - Skill | Hecate is a curious individual, and throughout her life in Alerar has learned to utilize whatever materials she can get her hands on to create machinations. She is a skilled fabricator, able to create her own automatons to breathe life into given the time and resources.
| Natural Talent - Skill | Hecate is naturally gifted with the ability of picking up things rather quickly. She has a high aptitude and is able to figure the most efficient way of utilizing magic to be less strenuous on herself thus is able to cast magic rather frequently without tiring herself out after a few spells, given she spaces out her casts to avoid exhaustion.
| Hex Touch - Ability | The magical ability that makes Hecate stand out is her ability to breathe life into the inanimate, thus allowing things without power or the ability to move be willed into motion and act on her behalf. Particularly effective on mechanical contraptions that lack a source of power or nature. Her control and precision over these objects are increased depending on how particularly bonded to them she is, with the strongest being creations of her own and things in nature or creations of others to varying lesser degrees.
Her control over inanimate objects is varied; the larger and more complex the object, the shorter duration she can manipulate it for before she becomes drained. Objects roughly the size of a young adult seem to have little impact on her and can be handled for extended durations while conscious. Vex, her main puppet and the first one she has ever created, is spiritually bonded with her and can be manipulated indefinitely so long as she is alive and conscious. [ The number of 'puppets' she can have manipulated at a time will be tied to her level. Starts with maximum of 1 puppet at a time at Level One ]

| Shock Bolt - Ability | A simple offensive magical spell that launches an arc of lightning up to a range of five meters that can chain to one additional target. Attracted to metallic objects. [ Two Post Cooldown - Can arc to one additional target every two Levels ]
| Earthen Fury - Ability | [Locked till Level 2] A defensive elemental spell that tears up the earth around Hecate and launches a wave of jagged stone spikes outwards in a one-meter radius around her. [ Three Post Cooldown ]
| Persuasion - Ability | [Locked till Level 5] In addition to her command over inanimate objects, Hecate also has a strong magical persuasion over sentient beings. She has a silver tongue both in her normal conversations and to use it to her benefit. Generally speaking, the weaker the individual being she is attempting to persuade, the greater the likelihood that they obey or follow her words without second-thought. An ability akin to hypnosis without actually being hypnosis.
Biography
Hecate is a gifted human individual born in Alerar to a pair of rather modest parents of no remarkable background. Growing up in a city that was a hotspot and marvel of technological engineering, technology and magic have always been a point of great interest to the curious and growing child. Growing up, Hecate and her parents discovered her natural talent for magic when she was able to bring small toys to life to play with, further piquing her interest in magic as she continued to grow into a young adult. However, this ability seemed to fade as she grew older, like a muscle not being used and soon atrophying.
As she grew older, her focus turned towards becoming an engineer. Many times has she tried putting together a machination of her own growing up, trial and error countless times to no avail. However, this never dissuaded her from pursuing her goals and the dream of one day creating something of her own that she could breathe life into. Upon becoming of age, she had not been successful in creating a functioning machine, but rather hollow and lifeless puppets. It wasn't until the creation of her first true puppet that she was proud of did she finally succeed in doing what she was unable to do for years.
Upon completion of her Vex puppet, something stirred inside of the young woman, a feeling that she had not experienced for quite some time, but came back to her naturally. Through magic, she was able to bring life into her puppet, and thus started her career as a machinist and puppeteer as she soon learned to use her ability to breathe life into the inanimate. Since then Hecate has continued to study magic and further her abilities, content with traveling in pursuit of knowledge and accompanied by her Vex.
