Versus Series....(Battle Tutorials)

So in light of most of us being stranded at home because of the virus and all that stuff, an idea occurred to me.

Many of us could use a breather form the intense things of the world and just fisticuffs one another in the forums.

I had an idea very similar to Alex (Breaker/That numbers guy) idea of doing a very basic tutorial style series of stuff.

In light of my recent character weapon swap with Nosdyn, I am attempting to do a similar series of ideas going back over REALLY basic (T1 Story) Turn-Based Combat, style writing.

In light of that, I am looking to do a very intense series of battles with our site's newcomers/etc.

And anybody I have not either written with in a LONG time or like have not completed stuff with yet.

So the first thread will go up in a little while. It will be all Citadel based stuff, but the arena...I have an idea where we are both already IN pre-existing arenas where we slobber knocker one another.

Maybe to the death, maybe not...all depends on your characters morales/etc.

But yeah like I am thinking to help newcomers brush up on some very basic combat technique stuff, and ALSO...even us vets can use a few refresher pointers too. I know I am rusty af with The Citadel. So if any of you guys are interested respond here, I will post up threads for ALL of you. (This is aimed at newcomers but anybody in general is welcome) The first thread will be open to the first person who wants to do the thread.

By the by...don't be intimidated by Nos current level if you guys are new. There is a thing I am attempting to test, so you level 1 folks will equally be able to harm any of my characters. Just saying. But yeah guys we'll see interest here, and work it from there!

Lona...first post is up I will link for you though it should be pretty obviously the Versus Episode 1 thread in the Citadel atm. Let's have some fun, this is not a SUPER serious project so you don't have to worry too much just go in and let's have some fun is the main point. If you see me messing up some actions in the thread/etc you feel free to let me know I am trying to learn too. I'll give you tips and pointers as we go too, so we can both improve together.

But yeah it's cool to see you back on the site active again bro, I will definitely have a versus thread up for you for later today.

The one caveat I wanna keep is the arenas for this project, we start IN the combat arena to axe out the whole "monk introduction" bullshit we're all so used to doing. I am intending to just get right into the action here.

But yeah hopefully the series itself does very very well and we can get a lot of cool threads going. Bu yeah Gum thanks for taking an interest man, I got you the thread will be up later today.

Here we go bro, Versus Gum should be a pretty good idea the cave IS in Dheathain if you need to know exact stuff but yeah hopefully the basic idea works.

Okay there we go...we got the ball rolling so far.

If you guys want to take up the mantle and battle with me on any of my characters do let me know.

This Versus project is open to anybody willing to like put up with me and write with me.

I'm just trying to help bolster the site's activity levels more with this project.

So any of you guys who are bored and need something to do come fite my characters level does not matter.

Guys I feel I can complete the thread with you two. Gum and Ashla, I just can't post fairly frequently yet but I CAN post. I feel bad about having left you guys hanging a little bit but like we can complete the two threads. I can post as often as I am able to atm, I just wanna be certain those particular threads are done. You guys feel me? Gum...when you get a chance hit me up there is a few matters I wanna go over with you about our thread your character has gotten really cool I wanna add by the way my man I got a few ideas I wanna run by you for our own development.

Once again...this series is open to all especially you newcomers to the site.

first time i've been in the citadel in ages.

not often people get battle threads going these days so imo i recommend anybody taking pav up on his offer--tons of fun

So I completed the thread with Gum the other thread was not completed but that is okay.

For anybody else who wants to do a Versus style battle thread yall let me know I am trying to kick things into high gear here.
