4.0 Transfer Update

Hey everyone,

I'm pleased to say that the transfer to 4.0 was successful.

I haven't had a lot of time to test the forum, but as of now as far as I can tell, there aren't too many issues.

The update also had some unexpected improvements. Namely, the AJAX chat has been optimized for mobile, which is cool (rotate horizontal to see both the chat box and user list). Also, the Wiki had a significant improvement. You can click the link in the navbar to see it. The bad news is that the wiki's content did not transfer. We'll do a content push during September where you can receive some rewards for helping me out with it.

I think I fixed the issues we were having with avatars and the GP/AP listing. I'll test that later.

I realize a lot of content is missing, but I wanted to finish the coding first. At this point all systems are installed. We need to update the index page. We also add the sidebar. I need to add a judgment submission link and add a few new styles, but that's about it.

If you see any errors, or see anything I didn't mention here missing, please let me know.

So, mobile version of chat isn't what's loading. If I click on the chat link I think it's giving me desktop version. The windows are about a sentence long and I MUST hit submit everytime I want to say something.

Works for me, biznitch. Also, looks like the forum is now mobile friendly-ish. I mean, it looks cleaner on mobile, but formatting options are absent. Better start memorizing them bb tags.

Strangely I'm seeing a totally blank chat when opening on PC. Nothing in the chat box or online users - totally empty. Not sure the cause.


EDIT: Strangely enough if I type a message and just press submit it populates.



New issue. When I close the tab and re-open (not even closing browser) it logs me out every time, even if I've selected remember me. I even cleared cookies and it's still doing it.
