    ~Name: Nosdyn Krotar

    ~Age: Not known.

~Race: Exiled Demon originally of Tular Plains

    ~Height: 5'9"/1.75M

    ~Weight: 260 lbs./118 kgs

    ~Job Class: Sell Sword

~Eye Colour: Yellow/Amber/Goldish (Think: Sith Eyes)

~Hair Colour: Bald (But sports many natural spikes on his head, bone spikes.)

    ~Alignment: ~NG Neutral Good~

    ~Vice: Wrath

    ~Virtue: Justice

~Appearance: Nosdyn is a humanoid Demon originally from The Tular Plains. He is -extremely- well built and muscular. His tribe has exotic coloured skin, and he in particular, has dark blue skin with black body markings. One would initially assume that they are tattoos. But they are, in fact, birth marks. He has an exotic black pattern of these marks all over his body. He is bald but he has horns that protrude from his skull in a very organized sort of pattern. He wears simple jewelry like earrings and amulets. A ring or two can be seen on his person at times with no particular markings of any house or clan. Nosdyn carries his legendary weapon with him at all times. It is a black coloured haft of a weapon that is fairly long and projects a purple beam.

~Personality: Nosdyn is a very serious individual. Though recently he nearly sacrificed himself for Stonevale. The nature of his sacrifice were unknown but he has developed a deep fondness and caring for the people of Stonevale. During a particularly dangerous Goblin raid, Nosdyn had enough tribal poison in his body to knock out 6 grown men or 12 halflings. It was a miracle he survived. As such he lives in Stonevale and attempts to eek out a living with those people. He does sellsword work for a local guard captain named William Blake. (A recurring NPC I use in my stories) Nosdyn is struggling with his own powers and his own demonic curses and wishes to create a world where Demons and Men can co-exist peacefully.

    ~Skill Sheet:

~Leadership: Nosdyn has leadership capacity. He can make leadership decisions on the fly and oft acts a Squad Leader when the situation calls for it. Nosdyn can inspire fellow Demons to great victories against their enemies, and he can also inspire great fear in enemies.

~Military Tactics: Nosdyn is a tactical genius. He thinks on the fly and adapts to situations as they call for it. He is willing to go to great extremes to finish any job that he is hired for. Nosdyn is capable of solving problems on the fly. His mind allows him to see greatly into whatever matters are hand and think through situations that would make most cringe.

~Sword Mastery: Nosdyn has mastered the use of his weapon. No other weapons or armaments interest him. Only achieving mastery in his Beam Weapon.

~Unarmed Combat Mastery: Nosdyn has taught himself the basics of unarmed combat and has quickly achieved mastery with this. He has his own brutal fighting style and there are situations where his weapon will become inactive so he has adapted and evolved.

~Horsemanship: Due to a recent need, Nosdyn has taught himself upkeep and maintenance of Horse-kind. He can ride with a great degree of skill and can push mounts with a considerable degree of success. He prefers to ride at this point. Nosdyn will sometimes use his Mantle of Fear to dominate horses in the wild and take command of them versus paying for a horse through legal/legitimate ends.

~Survival: Nosdyn knows advanced wilderness survival tactics often resorting to crude tactics to survive. Crude but efficient.

~Strategist: Nosdyn is a master Strategist thanks to his military training. He comes up with tactics on the fly even in a non-military situations.

    ~Ability Sheet:

~Mantle of Fear: (No Change from Level 2) (Rank 2) (Old Information) Being near Nosdyn triggers this Passive effect. For non-Demons or those with STRONG Fortitude, people become afraid of Nosdyn. It is almost as if he is a physical incarnation of Fear itself. Demons give off panic auras, and most other races do not like them already. Nosdyn is a particularly NASTY individual and has this added effect as a result of his training into The Dark Arts. The Mantle is a Passive Ability, but once broken it must be reactivated. It takes an individual of STRONG will to resist the panic aura effects. Nosdyn does not need to concentrate to keep the effect passive. (New) Having delved DEEPER into The Mantle of Fear's evolution Nosdyn has become considerably more dangerous. NOW he is able to develop a near psionic link with victims he is tormenting with his panic aura. If he comes in close to a target he is tormenting, the link up allows Nosdyn to see into the mind of the target. In this way, he can interrogate victims at will. Player Characters require permission for this effect to work. This type of mental invasion is often traumatic, and Nosdyn takes great pleasure in the suffering of his enemies. The Panic Aura is constantly active. But the psychic link portion of the ability requires concentration to pull off. On NPC's this can have devastating effect. On PCs the effect varies in degrees of usefulness. Through the mental link established, Nosdyn can push his thoughts into the minds of his victims as well and causes them great Torment and Agony. In this fashion, Nosdyn can siphon memories from his victims as well. This portion of the Mantle may be used up to 3 times a day.

[b]Level 4: (Fear Psionics) The Mantle of Fear exudes a panic aura off Nosdyn that attempts to cause people around him to become afraid. Nosdyn has currently no way to control this effect but some heartier folks can be more tolerant to this passive effect. Thanks to recent events in Stonevale, Nosdyn seeks out a way to control this power effectively. After much tutelage and deep meditation into the dark side, Nosdyn can control the severity of his panic aura. At will he can dim down the effects, but never completely turn it off. The panic aura makes the air shimmer around Nosdyn. Nosdyn has grown to respect the people of Stonevale and has had a need to control his devastating powers. Nosdyn has begun to seek those of strong will to help learn to control his power. Further developing his ability, Nosdyn has acquired access to limited Telepathy. Note: This power can be used on Player Characters with permission. A mental link with the subject in question must be established first and it boarders on similar art to Orlouge psionic powers. Though different since this art is based off Fear. When a link is established, Nosdyn can talk through telepathy towards the connected individual unless they have a strong mind, and or do not want to link to Nosdyn.

~Fell Blood: (Demonic Blood) (Rank 1) Nosdyn is a Demon and as a result has Demonic blood. The genetic traits of his people lurk within his body, and much studying into the secret side of his kind has awarded Nosdyn with newfound power. His Demon's Blood has also awarded Nosdyn with Demonic Flesh. At will, he can harden his flesh as an armoured carapace up to two times a day. The toughness gives Nosdyn's flesh the basic armour capacity of up to Iron Skin in nature. This period of Iron Skin lasts roughly one turn for now. (No change to this power set)

~Enhanced Endurance: Nosdyn has achieved 5x's the enhanced Endurance of a standard Althanas human.

~Enhanced Strength:Nosdyn has achieved 2x's the enhanced Strength of a standard Althanas human. This strength applies to all attacks armed or unarmed.)

~Heightened Senses: Through his training Nosdyn has achieved heightened senses. He has roughly 3.0x's the enhanced senses of a standard Althanas human. These senses allow him to see better, hear better and smell better. For certain acts of sensory awareness he still has to focus to sense them but for minor acts he can detect it.

~Saber Techniques: (New) Nosdyn has begun to achieve some mastery with his beam weapon and develop his own unique fighting style with such.

~Projected Will: (Saber) An extension of his beam weapon, Nosdyn has perfected a secret technique. At will during battle, Nosdyn can project his will through his beam sword. The blade extends outwards and whips energy out in a burst. This is particularly useful to evade projectile techniques, and break objects that are preventing Nosdyn from reaching a target. The projected will can extend from the blade's tip to a range of about five feet currently. It is directly in front of Nosdyn and cannot be currently altered in any direction. This exotic art is primarily used to break obstructions or incoming projectile attacks. (Such as energy blasts or arrows) The relative strength of the projected will strike is roughly mythril grade in strength. [b]Can be used every TWO turns during a fight. One for focusing, and one for Cooldown purposes.

~Projected Shield: (Saber) An extension of his beam weapon, Nosdyn has perfected a secret technique. At will during battle, Nosdyn can raise his weapon to attempt to ward off particularly troublesome attacks. This secret technique functions as a ward and is an extension of both Nosdyn's beam weapon and his Iron Skin ability. The projected shield can be used as a burst mechanics three times currently in one battle. It can be used to ward off most of an incoming attack. Devastating powers can still easily break Projected Shielding. Once a ward is broken, it takes Nosdyn a full two turns to attempt to activate a new ward. Each Ward costs TWO turn to activate and once broken, costs an EXTRA turn (So three to activate once more) after it breaks.

    ~Inventory:

~Weapon: Runed Beam Blade. (Beam Sword) A purple bladed energy weapon that is projected off of a long hafted weapon. The weapon itself strangely resembles a saber lance. But only has the one blade, the blade emits a sound that is like a hundreds of screaming souls. The blade's strength is currently equivalent to Prevalida (I linked the upgrade purchase in the sections of the top of this character sheet) and is used with a unique fighting style. The blade can be disrupted and takes a turn or two to reactivate.

~Armour: Nosdyn wears full leather armour for combat. It is coloured black. He sometimes wears a cloak.

~Mask: (An old purchase I almost forgot about.) Sometimes, Nosdyn wears a scary mask that amplifies his panic aura and hides his face.

    ~Flaws:

~Slow: Nosdyn is not built for speed and agility. He's built to survive incredible traumas and feats of strength. Nosdyn is a tank type of character and cannot move or react quickly at all. He is a heavy and muscular individual, should his attack land. They will hurt. But his main flaw is lack of speed and agility, he will always have this hindrance.

~History: Stonevale. Exiled from Tular Plains, Nosdyn had ended up traveling the known world of Althanas. From time to time, he ventured with the mysterious Kenku named Stare. The two had grown fond of one another. And he called Stare FRIEND. In Stonevale, where he settled down, Nosdyn became friends with a man named William Blake. One of the acting guard captains of Stonevale's militia. Nosdyn oft did mercenary work for the fellow and it seemed that William was not affected by Nosdyn's panic aura at all. In fact, MOST of Stonevale seemed to be made of sturdy stuff and were not bothered by the Demon's presence at all.

Nosdyn never found that strange or odd.

The people of Stonevale merely accepted the Demon as he was.

That meant that Nosdyn had obtained a reason to fight, someone to protect. Though he did not keep a mate yet, he was content living with the Stonevale citizens and even earned a house within the general population of Stonevale. Nosdyn currently was working to understand his own growing powers and never questioned why the people of Stonevale were not affected by him. He merely accepted the situation as it was. Nosdyn was training himself using the old manuals of his people that he'd come to the surface world with a long time. There was a secret in those old manuscripts, something that Nosdyn needed to see, to learn. And so, that's how Nosdyn came to live in Stonevale....

And how he'd found a purpose to live for and a people to fight for.
