Golbin avatar picture?

Hi everyone,

I'm not really sure where this post belongs so I'll put it here. I'm wondering if anyone here who is an artist would mind spending a minute or two making an avatar for me based on my character. I'm really terrible at art but I'd like something to put there.

Either that or if someone simply has an image or a link to an image that would make sense, that would be good too. Google has been failing me, and my art skills are typically failing me, so I need some help!

Actually even just art advice and/or avatar locating advice would be nice ^^

The other thing was about my signature. It's not too long, is it? It seems like most people don't have signatures, or have very short ones. I know images are banned, but I didn't think mine was too long...

Hi there!

The Creative Endeavors forum is probably most appropriate for this thread, so I have moved it here for you.

Unfortunately, I'm an awful artist, so I can't really help with your request. Most of the avatars I see and have used in the past came from a Google image search for what you're looking for, and then some photoshopping to make it fit your vision. As for goblins, I suppose it matters whether you are looking for something cute, cartoony, or scary. But searching for 'goblin' on Google gives a ton of stuff with different looks to perhaps inspire a direction. I was trying to find pictures of the goblins from the old Gummy Bears cartoon because I thought they'd be good, but couldn't find them. Perhaps someone more artsy or with better Google-fu than I could provide more assistance.

As far as the signature, I'm fine with it. It does not seem overly long to me. Though protip: judges tend to get annoyed scrolling through pages of the same signature in a thread. If you uncheck the "show your signature" option under the posting box for all of your posts except the first in an RP thread, they'll love you for it.
