It had been awhile since Edward had had a good battle, and despite not getting into the Tournament of Champions that he had wanted to get in, he was bound and determined to have a bit of fun. There was so much he wanted to do and so many people to fight there, so instead of leaving, Edward made a battle invitation to anyone willing to take it and gave it to the tournament officials, asking them to help him find an opponent for a little one on one sparring.

Afterwards he went to the Garden of secrets to prepare. As the creater of the challenge, he had one clear advantage in the matter of battle even before it began. That advantage was the choice of arena. As his fighting revolved entirely around using his surroundings to his advantage, the main area of the garden wouldn't do. There weren't very many surroundings to use. Edward started examining the portals next. After a while he found one that suited his fancy, it was nothing too complex, but it was complex enough.

The battlefield he could see through the portal Appeared to be a giant recreation of stonehenge, but with the stones fused together for safety's sake. In other words, what it was was a bunch of stones arranged in a circle, all the stones shaped like the mathematical symbol for Pi. Around this circle was a towering walls, made to insure that the battle didn't leave the stonehenge looking area.

Of course, Edward couldn't go into the portal just yet or his opponent, whoever it was, would be unable to find him, and there would be no battle, so instead, Edward sat down nearthe portal and waited patiently for an opponent to arrive and accept his challenge.
