i am new and i was kind of having problem at how to start joining an rp, with all the region and all.

First of all, welcome to Althanas. We're always happy to have new members.

Now, to your question. You've already begun the process, which starts with registration. A Realm of Greeting moderator will be along to look over your profile and either approve it, or make some suggestions so that it can be approved.

Once registration is finished, starting is easy, and there are a number of ways to do it. If you have a story in mind already, you can start a thread either for a solo (where you and you alone write in it) or for a group quest. Group quests can be either open or closed. Open quests are quests that are seeking any and all participants, though they can be open only to certain types of characters and/or to a certain number. Closed quests are those quests for which the participants are already decided and agreed upon. More people can join in, but they must do so only with the permission of the first poster or quest leader, and usually with the permission of other players in the quest.

Alternatively, you could join an open quest. In that case, just find a story you like and think your character would fit well into, and if it's open, just post in it. It's that simple.

Another option available to you is battling. Battles can be done anywhere, in any of the regions, but there is a place called the Citadel where only battles are done. A battle is a contest not only between characters, but between writers. No matter the events of the fight, the winner and loser, as far as the community and rewards are concerned, are determined by the scores given by the judge. As with quests, battles can be open or closed, and can include as few or as many people as you want, though a battle must have at least two participants to truly be a battle.
