Philosophy
– The Exploration of Magic – Magic is something supposedly supernatural, and as such can and will be explained by science and logical understanding. Mental powers, such as any –kenisis abilities are commonly accepted as enlightened minds using parts of their brains that others have yet to gain access too, and as such is smiled upon. Belief that what one does as some sort of metaphysical connection to a deep seeded and dormant power waiting to be revealed is simply nonsense, and is what the clan strives to disprove.
– The Exploration of Religion – Like magic, belief in the gods is simply a rhetoric passed down generations without a true system of substantiated substance behind it. There is no metaphysical higher power that grants abilities and ‘magic’ to those that follow it, only a closed mind that has accepted a catalyst for their lack of understanding in what they can do.
– The Exploration of Technology – Technology is a quickly growing, ever evolving field of study that can combine the understanding of the basis of magic with the ability to meld it with common man-made constructs. It is the proof that power does not come from a higher being, but from the people that put their minds to the task and create the power themselves.
Customs
The Honorable Way – Dueling – The Honorable Way is a code of conduct that each member of the Adamantine Rose is bound to. Though not everyone that joins is required to have knowledge of combat, it is generally accepted that each will uphold the honor of the clan and themselves when the need arises. As such, the dueling spirit that the leader of the clan embodies is passed on to the rest of the members. If honor is impeded upon, such as a slight or a rude expression (at the members discretion), they can either fight a duel themselves or if they are without combat experience can request that an auxiliary of the Prevalida Corps take up arms in their defense. Taking up arms for another is a sign of brotherhood, trust, and mutual respect and is a voluntary position.
The Path to Perfection – Study and logical knowledge – Above all, there is one paramount that precludes joining the ranks of the Adamantine Rose. That is, if you wish to join, you must have an open mind and be able not only to learn but also teach when called upon to do so. Rigorous differences between what one is raised to believe and what the Adamantine Rose seeks can come about, but it is the belief in the structure and the search for truth and knowledge that always come first.

The Adamantine Rose – Leader and/or Founder
The Prevalida Fist – Militaristic Corps – The Prevalida Corps (for short) is dedicated to the protection and perseverance of the clan. They are the warriors and soldiers that uphold the honor and dignity of the clan. When called upon they can be sent to war, or simply used as protection for the other members when the need arises.
The Mythril Mind – Corps in charge of technological advancements – The Mythril Corps is dedicated to the understanding and power that comes with advanced technology, as well as creating new forms of technology from scratch or from previously discovered ideas. They are the mechanics and workers that fuel the strength of the military corps.
The Titanium Sage – Corps dedicated to the study and debunking of religion and magic – Those who cannot simply accept that there is a god, but ask why is there a god? Those that cannot accept that magic exists, but ask why it exists and how, that is what the Sage Corps is dedicated to. Creating a world where science and logical reasoning is more pronounced than simple acceptance underlines the very foundation of the clan.

The Adamantine Rose – Leader of the Clan
The Prevalida Fist
-- High General – The single leader of the Fist’s Corps. Responsible for the upkeep of the militaristic wing of the clan. The High General is the highest rank achievable within the Corps, and is only offered to the most experienced and proven person who is both a great warrior and a great leader.
-- Captain – The rank of captain is one of second in command in any battlefield. Leadership of lower ranks is paramount, but so is battle prowess and ability on the field of combat. If the High General should fall then the next most experienced captain would step into their place and take on their responsibilities. Captains can be called on to be used in place of lieutenants should they want to undertake the mission, or if multiple groups of soldiers under multiple lieutenants are called for situationally. There can be multiple captains, and a star next to their rank denotes who has rank and seniority within the rank, to a maximum of five stars. (Stars denoted by *)
-- Lieutenant – Unlike the common soldier in the clan, the Lieutenant is someone who has proven themselves on the field of battle, as well as proven their loyalties to the clan. In order to attain the rank of Lieutenant the High General, or in their absence the Rose, will promote the person in question to the position. Lieutenants have the responsibility of undertaking missions as leadership when there is a small force being deployed or in use. Captains are the leaders of multiple squads of lieutenants when the occasion calls for it. There can be multiple lieutenants, and a star next to their rank denotes who has rank and seniority within the rank, to a maximum of three stars. (Stars denoted by *)
-- Soldier – The soldier is the lowest rank, but by far one of the most important. Without a backbone none of the other ranks would have a purpose. Without purpose, the entire corps falls apart. A soldier is one who has yet to prove themselves on the field of battle, and their loyalties (while not in question) have yet to be truly proven. All soldiers are the same rank on the field of battle, looking up to lieutenants for guidance.
The Mythril Mind
-- Mastermind – Leadership of the corps dedicated to the advancement of technological understanding and use is a paramount position within the clan. Equal ranking to a Savant or High General, the Mastermind is in charge of upkeep of research and exploration of new technology or existing technology. Also, the course of the study is dependent on what the Mastermind deems most necessary. Leadership and devotion to the clan is a must.
-- Inventor – An inventor is someone who can create something from nothing, a person who does not need an existing idea to have a project at hand (or multiple at times). In the case of the inventor, it is paramount that they have a firm understanding of technology present and it’s use as well as how to adapt to situations as called for. An inventor can oversee a group of tinkerers, when necessary, or can work alone or in groups with one another. The rank and seniority of each is denoted by a star next to their rank, with a maximum of three stars. The highest ranked Inventor would take the place of the Mastermind should a situation arise when that is a necessity. (Stars denoted by *)
-- Tinkerers – Tinkerers are the heart and soul of the technological corps. They take what exists and change it to work in a different way, or completely change it altogether. In order to be a tinkerer one must only have a sharp mind and a will to learn from those higher ranked. As such, anyone can be a tinkerer, but not everyone will be part of the Mythril Mind. Taking what is and making it better is the name of the game, and tinkerers are the pieces in play. There is no difference in rank or seniority for tinkerers.
The Titanium Sage
-- Savant – The ultimate rank of a person who’s will and determination prescript their beliefs and belie their faith, the Savant leads the Sage corps. A personage of supreme convictions, the leader of the corps dedicated to the debunking of religion, the gods, and the illusion of magic. Supernatural occurrences are little more than scientifically and logically unexplained events, and the Savant is the supreme leader of those working towards understanding it all. The Savant is hand chosen by the Adamantine Rose, and given that position because of their harmony with understanding the mission and purpose of the guild itself.
-- Philosopher – A thinker in their own rights, but one who has gone above and beyond in their pursuit of knowledge to the point where others look up to them. A philosopher is someone who stands above the common thought, someone who doesn’t just question why, but creates a viable and logical solution to the question. Anyone can ask a question, it takes a true intellectual to regard not only the question but possible solutions to the question as well as theories as to how it may work. There are no ranks for philosophers.
-- Thinker – A thinker is one that is outside the box. They don’t accept the norm, and in turn question the nature of things that are presented to them as fact. Questions need answers, but a thinker is someone who dwells more on the question itself, and poses questions in return instead of dwelling on anything deeper. While a thinker is no less important than a philosopher, they aren’t as strongly looked upon due to the fact that they don’t answer questions. Then again, what is there to answer when no questions are being created to begin with?
