Is the thrill of normal Battles not enough for you? Do you desire higher risks and even greater rewards? If so, you have come to the right place! Wager Matches are a special feature in the Citadel that gives players the chance to earn large amounts of EXP quickly, at the risk of losing EXP.

Rules:

  • As with any role-playing thread on Althanas, characters must be registered and approved to participate.
  • All standard battle rules apply (IE: bunnying without permission and powergaming).
  • Players may wager up to 5,000 EXP on a match, but obviously cannot bet more than they have. The wager amount will be deducted from the loser and given to the winner. All other Battle rewards (including standard EXP) are awarded as normal.
  • To register for a Wager Match, simply post in this thread with your character's name, the amount of EXP wagered, its current status (open, pre-arranged, or claimed), and any other requirements (such as a specific type of arena or a level restriction for opponents). Be sure to include wagers and requirements that others will be willing to accept.
  • Post the battle thread in the Citadel as normal, but include "Wager Match -" in the title. Submit finished battles for judging as normal.
  • Like any Citadel battle, characters are healed or revived afterwards.
