[Silence Sei]

Welcome to the Ixian Vault! It is here that we allow you, the Ixian Knights, to come borrow some of the mystical treasures that have been granted to our team during our journies. If you wish to borrow one of the items, the rules for such are simple. Simply link to the thread you wish to use the item in, and either myself or Amber Eyes will come in and approve of the renting.

Beware though, for after three weeks of having the item lent to you, if you do not ask for an extension in that same thread, we will not only return the item to the vault, but also charge you a 50 GP late fee. This penalty will also incur if you borrow something, and your account goes inactive for a whole week without prior notification.

If during your quest, you 'break' an item that you borrowed, well that's no problem! The Ixian Knights are more than willing to repair whatever little doohickey you accidentally sullied. However, there will be a 200 GP fee for costs of labor and repairs.

Other than that, I will be listing the items we have available shortly. Just remember to be respectful of others property and have fun!

[Silence Sei]

Ether Band
A gold ring inset with three amber stones. Allows short distance teleportation of 8 to 10 feet per use. Inlaid with 3 amber stones which turn to onyx each time it is used to teleport. The stones may be used at once to teleport long distances, such as from The Citadel in Corone to Anebrilith in Raiaera. Requires three hours in direct sunlight to recharge its power after all of the stones turn to onyx. Donated by Dan Lagh'ratham

Kikurin
A small jade plaque with three small, white indents carved into its otherwise ornately decorated face, this artifact, upon being invoked, allows user to become invisible to the naked eye, for five minutes at a time. Once all three indents return to the color of jade, however, the artifact must be exposed to moonlight for an entire night before recharging. Donated by Dan Lagh'ratham

Strength Leaves*
A set of three special leaves, which are taken from ground saturated with magic. Upon chewing these leaves, a person’s strength is doubled for an hour, as well as prevent them from succumbing to poisons. Additionally, after being chewed, if applied to wounds, the leaves help the healing process. Donated by Dan Lagh'ratham

* Just a note, if you chose to consume one of the strength leaves during your quest, 500 GP will be charged to your account in order for the Ixian Knights to pay for a new one. Likewise, if one would like to donate money for more strength leaves, please contact either myself or Amber Eyes.

Valeena's Favour
A steel lance nine feet in length with a simple spiral design coloured green and white. It's handle is steel bound oak and it is a sturdy, efficient design capable of piercing armour three tiers higher than it's own construction under certain conditions. Such bonuses come only when the wielder is mounted, charging, and in sunlight. If ever the lance is blessed or given favour by a mistress, princess or female member of the Scara Braen court, it will become magical and can then damage ethereal or undead creatures, and instil any wounds inflicted by it with an unstoppable bleeding quality, prolonging natural healing times by twice the normal amount. Scylla's Mantle
A simple diamond tiara with a half-moon spiral pattern and thin ribbon lattice on the rear, overhanging the nape of the wearer. In moonlight, this ancient elven artefact encapsulates the beauty of the elves and casts a glamour over the wearer akin to a calming spell that can be fixated onto one individual at any one time, and weakens anger, hatred or blood-lust in that individual if it is exhibited towards the wearer. Such commanding power works only in direct moonlight, and cannot affect those of a higher level than the owner. Donated by Sei Orlouge

The Liviol Band
A simple, plain wooden ring that appears to be of an entirely mundane and worthless origin. When worn, however, it invigorates the owner's spirit and will, offering 5% magic resistance when passively worn, and 15% against a single attack once per thread. If touched by flame of any variety at any point, it will burn to cinders. Donated by Sei Orlouge

The Eye of the Avian
A small, smooth orb that can be easily palmed in the hand of the owner. The orb is made of what appears to be smooth obsidian with a sliver of gold somehow formed into a slit eye beneath the surface. When the user concentrates on it, and makes eye contact with only one bird at a time, they are able to look through that bird’s eyes. Once able to see through the eyes, slight navigation of the bird is possible. The link to the bird lasts up to one mile per level. Donated by Sei Orlouge

The Siren's Call
It's a crossbow that, when fired, lets out an ear splitting scream. This thing will work wonders on people vulnerable to loud noises, or elves, since they have super hearing. The undead aren't phased by it, unless of course they're hit with the arrow. Made from wood from the Red Forest, the bow is two feet long and two feet wide. Donated by Sei Orlouge

Shark Skin
Some high quality shark skin that’s equal to arctic leather, enough to make 2 sets of armor/accsessories. This item can be restored by going and slaying some more sharks in a quest/battle, and requesting such as a spoil. Donated by William Arcus

Demonsbane Trinket

Erissa is donating a trinket that vibrates in the presence of demons and those who are demon-bound. Wooden, and shaped like the lucky half of a broken wishbone. Donated by Erissa.

Azoth

A rare Elixir that is known as Panecea, this substance can heal all effects of hex like magic or status ailments, as well as a cure for ANY poison in existence. The downside is the stuff BURNS the poisons away, and regardless of level or tolerances found in people's profiles the antidote will paralyze the user for one full post as the pain and shock to their body takes effect. Donated by Jensen Ambrose.

Angel Eye

A small remote-controlled eyeball controllable via telepathy through the eyepatch. The user can see what the Angel Eye can, though his vision is split between normal and the eye patch. Can fly at 10 mph top speed, no range limit. Received through special auction at the Bazaar Auction House. Donated by Joshua 'Breaker' Cronen

The All Seeing Eye

A special monocle that, when worn by the user, can tell whether or not a person is telling the truth. Those with a higher affinity for magic (Level 6 and above) can use this monocle as an X-ray eye as well. Gold trimming, Mystic Glass (The same used for Mystic Protection), and a gold link chain make up this unique accessory. HQ Reward for October.


Steedstone

A small carved ivory horse. When the command word is spoken, the statue becomes a full-size horse of two varieties - fully barded warhorse, or light, fast horse. Horse will be active until the following sunset or sunrise, whichever is quicker, and in that time, does not tire. HQ reward for December.

Chime of summoning

A magical silver chime, can be used once per thread to summon a fellow IK member for assistance through magical doorway, after approval from member in question. It should be noted that the IK member in question will only be present for one post in battle, or the duration of a quest thread (so long as it is not competitive). HQ reward for January.


The Feint

The Feint is a single GP that has been blessed with a special feature; the home of the feint's owner is protected from their enemies with a type of reverse magic. that means those who seek to do harm with magic spells will meet an anti-magic barrier, those with anti-telepath abilities will actually become more prone to said abilities, and antagonistic teleporters coming in are actually teleported further away from their target. While in the Vault, the Feint's owner is considered the Ik Quartermaster, and therefore, Ixian Castle is considered the home. it should be noted that physical items, such as bullets or molotov cocktails, are in no way effected by the blessing of the Feint, only those abilities with ethereal or otherwise unexplainable means. HQ Reward for February.

The Plane Sealer

This magical item takes the form of a simple stamp with the Ixian Knight logo upon it. It has been enchanted by the best mages in the Castle to allow anyone wearing it to lock all plane walking (Shadow melds, jumping to other dimensions, time traveling, etc) wherever the current target is for two hours. The distance of this magical item applies to anyone the user wills within a mile circumference. HQ Reward for March.

Pepper's Treat

This is a plastic chew toy specifically designed for familiars. It takes the form of a squeeky toy rodent coated with fake fur and a stretchy plastic tail. Any familiar with Pepper's Treat gains the ability to take on a more sinister form within reason. With this item, Eagles can become Griffins, Goats can turn into Chimeras, and fledgling phoenix's can become medium sized-fire birds. Keep in mind this only evolves the animal to the next step. A newly hatched Dragon will not become a city large creature capable of total annihilation. A average human sized phoenix, however, could becomes large enough to ride as a mount. HQ Reward for April.

Amulet of Temperance

This Amulet takes the form of a yin-yang sign of fire and ice, decorated with a lavish gold chain and trim. Anyone who has this accessory becomes immune to temperature changes, and thus prevents conditions such as drying out from a hot sun, getting hypothermia from a cold swim, and other conditions caused by sudden temp changes. This only effects the user of the amulet and not the area around them. HQ Reward for May.

Carrotka Fury

This is a two chain and spiked ball originally named 'Hromagh's Balls' but renamed due to its stupid name. It is a flail made from titanium. The chain is two foot long, with a three foot wooden handle. For most people it would be wielded with two hands. As well as the normal damage such a weapon would inflict, once blood is drawn, the balls become wreathed in fire. This weapon is also called Hogrimah's Great Balls of Fire. Can we donate items? The disitlled properties of Paneca (the wonderful cure all) should be available to the Ixian Knights as when I requested it as a spoil it was intended to give ro the group.

Yes, in fact, it's encouraged to donate items you don't so much use yourself anymore, as long as they aren't specifically for your character. Just send me a description along with the item name, and I'll post it up here.

Since Akiv isn't quite old enough to use it yet, I'd like to loan his harmonica pistol to the vault. It can be used by anyone but I will need it back when I finally start writing with him!

(Multiple uses, but people MUST follow the rules:

1: You may never, ever, sell it.
2: You may never have more than one use on his body at any time.
3: You can never GIVE the Azoth to another player. If you wishes for them to have it, you must make them drink it, or at the end of the thread it's useless to them. (in effect, they can't use outside the thread they earned it). This costs 750GP per use.)

Though I may decide to sell it once the black market opens up, I'd like to donate Cronen "Angel Eye" to the vault for now.
