Personality: Ioder is one of the last remaining Seraphim in existence. And as such he is a very smart, but childish creature. Since the Seraphim don't necessarily 'Age' he retains a child form forever, or unless he wishes to appear older based on his best options. He is scorned by his past and being an outcast his whole long miserable life,he harbors a real resentment for most other races.
Appearance: Ioder tends to change his appearance to cover his real identity as a seraphim, his favorite appearance is a younger fourteen year old form. His wings are every color of the rainbow if he allows them to he seen.
History: The history of Ioder begins with the history of his people, the history of the Seraphim. Seraphim are not angels, though they are often mistake as such due to them possessing wings that might have made the locals claim to be seeing angels. The Seraphim did not originate from Althanas, rather they are only exist in this world due to the destruction of their own. Seraphim first lived on a habitable star that traveled the night sky, a comet in orbit around the planet. Though a great cataclysm forced the Seraphim to decent to the ground below, as their homeland was destroyed. At first the Seraphim did not show many major differences to the local of the world, in fact the look almost identical to humans aside from their wings. But as the Seraphim being a race of powerful beings that showed almost limitless ability with their magic skill and had quickly become feared by many of the races on the earth. After the first drop of Seraphim blood was spilled, the few Seraphim that descended to this world were killed of as they were seen as a threat. Years the Seraphim were hunted, to the point where only handfuls were left. Ioder and his only family, his sister Estelle were among the final of their kind left alive after the genocide of their kind.
After hundreds of years of hiding, blending in with the humans that despised them so, Ioder had built up a resentment towards them. Surrounded by those who would rather your death, he was only kept calm by his loving sister. She was his only source of love and compassion on this who planet, even in their toughest times Estelle would be the rock that supported them. But this all ended on one fateful day, the beginning of the end, Estelle and Ioder had been found out buy the locals they had been blending in with. Hours they ran as they were chased after by the humans and elfs, they ran until there was no where else to run. Estelle sacrificed her self in order to protect Ioder and slow his safe escape. The only person he had a bond with was gone and he was truly alone.
After hundreds of years time past and The Seraphim drifted into legend and Ioder was no longer hunted. He had finaly became free to be who he was, but this never had covered the wounds that the humans left on him. He had since take up a life of countless research in ways of resurrecting his people, mostly resurrecting his sister. Since her death he had no one to bond with, he always afraid of how they would react if they ever knew of him. He still has scars over his heart from the lose of her and would do anything if it meant bringing her back and having a home.
Still to this day Ioder had only met a few other Seraphim that had survived the genocide. For his efforts he would resort to anything to revive his sister, even senselessly killing the scum of the land who had killed her.
Skills: Seraphim Hand to Hand- Ioder is a master in this unique for of combat focusing on piercing blows and swift counters.
Swordsmanship Adept- Ioder has learned over the years to effectively use bladed weapons. His Fighting style reflects a lot of fencing and swift slashes.
Delegate- Ioder has a way with words and is a very trusting person, many times he can convey a point and convince others into it.
Abilities: Transcendent Appeal- Ioder as a Seraphim has the capability to morph his shape into other humanoid forms. This is used to cover his identity and come across as another. His favorite form is his former appearance as a child in life, he uses this to appeal to the senses of others. (4 per thread)
Seraphim Flight- Being a Seraphim Ioder possesses a pair of pixie like wings. They can appear and disappear at free will. (Non-Combat Flight)
Seraphim Glimmer- Seraphim are blessed with a unique offensive and defensive power, a glimmering aura can surround them. Ioder has the ability to freely control the glimmer in various purposes. The focus of his fighting style, Ioder's control and cunning in using this ability is formidable, able to control immense amounts of this aura at once. Taking advantage of the Aura's malleable qualities Ioder uses this for an number of basic attacks, most notable his capture and crush. Enveloping his aura around a target and then imploding it to crush them. But the key to this ability is its defensive qualities, on it own free will the glimmer will assume the glimmer shield effect. If threatened Ioder's glimmer will make a barrier around him protecting him from harm. Whilst automatic Ioder can control is strength level to steel like qualities and even completely encase him like a dome. (5 per thread.)
