Hello everyone, I'm pleased to announce that the new forum award system is finally live. Badges, found in your postbit, will be awarded when you meeting certain criteria, just like achievements or trophies on the consoles. As you can see below, there are many different categories of awards. Some can be received for writing whereas others can be received by contributing. In addition to the badges, meeting some goals will also net you an extra prize. Basically, the goal of this system is to add an entire new dynamic to Althanas by creating some secondary incentives for your writing. Here is a listing of currently available awards:

Please note, badges are not automatically awarded. They must be claimed in the Badge Claim Thread. Participation is voluntary, meaning you don't have to show off your swag in your postbit if you don't want to. You'll still get the extra prizes simply for hitting the goal. Good news for all veterans. If you've already received an achievement, just provide proof (if available) and we'll give you the badge. However, you will not receive the extra prize unless you meet a goal after this post goes live. Also of note, awards can be won multiple times. If this takes off, Hysteria will be making individual tournament awards, meaning if you hover over the badge, you'll see a different description each time.
