Name: Drusilia Liadon
Race: Dark Elf
Profession: Aberration Hunter
Age: 120
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 145 pounds
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Updates in*purple.
Previous Profile found*here.*

Personality: Drusilia is a cold person to be around. Often times people find her to be downright hostile, often remaining silent only to comment snidely on statements made about her. Her cold exterior is the only thing most people have seen, as she seldom trusts others. The presence of idiots or naive people often times irritates her, and so she acts openly hostile and brutal to cow them from annoying her.

Appearance: Drusilia rarely is found in anything but her hunter’s garb. She will be found in tight fitting leather pants and a loose long sleeve cotton shirt. The shirt is more to keep her nominally warm on a summer’s night. However, her hair is almost always pulled back in some form of ponytail to keep it from getting in her face. She often can be seen with her quiver and bow strapped across her back, along with one steel sword sheathed at the small of her back and the other held perpendicular to the bow and quiver. She also can rarely be found outside of her arctic hide armor dyed a dark black which she purchased in Eluriand.

Skills:

Low Light Vision –*Passive*– Drusilia has the ability to see as well in daylight as in low light conditions. So long as she can see the moon in the sky or a campfire nearby she can see in the area surrounding up to 50 feet.

Trance –*Passive*– Not a skill so much as a clarification. Having been trained as an aberration hunter she doesn’t require actual sleep. Instead she must sit in a meditative trance for at least 4 hours a night in order to be considered well rested. However, while in the trance nothing but the loudest noises will rouse her as her mind goes through mental exercises to entertain her while she rejuvenates.

Sword Proficiency –*Combat*– Drusilia is versed in the forms of two sword fighting style. However, she is not good enough to be able to rely upon it all the time. Because of this she prefer to be with only one blade at a time for now. In terms of skill she is*Master*at two sword fighting, and at a skill level of legendary with one sword.

Bow Proficiency –*Combat*– She is proficient with her bow to be able to hit a target up to*250 ft away. While she cannot bulls eye the target she is capable of hitting a man sized target so long as it is doing nothing more than*jogging. A man at full sprint requires her to be at half that range to be able to graze it, and a third of that range to hit decently.

Litanies of Hate –*Combat/Hunter*- Upon beginning the Litanies of Hate, Drusilia may begin a tempo of blows that increases with each line of the litanies. If she should do so her speed will increase and the strength of each blow will increase as well, until they end at double her most powerful output, and at double the speed. The downside of this maneuver is that it requires her target to hold still and be held under the rain of blows, meaning that if she misses at any time during the litany she will find her energy wasted. She must repeat the initial strike again and again, only being able to move forward at a slow pace, as she continues to swing the blade.

Awarded*here.

Detect Magic –*Hunter*– She is capable of detecting magical auras about her. As the goal of her profession is to remove aberrations in the form of magical maladies she will use this knowledge to often track mages or magical creatures. These auras often are blue highlights around someone ranging from a deep blue to pure magical and a light blue for magically touched. She can only detect auras when she can see the target and will often times use the ability to confirm a mark.

Null Magic –*Hunter*- Similar in working of a null stone, eventually Hunters learn to create the very antithesis to magic itself. While acting as anti-magic the null magic is weaker than a true null stone in that it only stops magic to a point. Anti-Magic is generated around the user and will either negate lesser spells thrown at it, or diminish stronger spells lessening their effect against the user.*In terms of Magic this ability attempts to negate any spell the Mage is directly targeted by or comes into contact with the following parameters;

**Every*magical effect she comes in contact with triggers this ability. She has*no*control on what effects can or will be negated, and the null magic will always attempt to dispel the strongest effects first when in contact with multiple effects.

* If the spell is a minor cantrip (such as*Aurelius' Shahab's Lash*or*This Illusion's focused light.) the effect is negated.

* If the spell has a duration that relies on a trigger, Null Magic will create that trigger a number of times equal to half the Mage Hunter's level (round down). (I.E. Preforming the action requested by* in his Would? Spell, or hitting a mage protected by*Mystic Protection.)

* If it is a spell with a duration she reduces that duration by half her levels in the same time increment it lasts.

* If any of these effects reduce an ability to 0 duration or 0 remaining effect they dissolve and have no secondary effects based on expiration such as the shattering glass of Mystic Protection.*

This however is incredibly taxing to the user and can only be done twice a day before they have used up their accumulated Anti-Magic. Following the two uses the user must trance in order to restore enough anti-magic for one use.

Drain Magic –*Hunter*- By exerting the basic ability of Magic that is innately present in all life, the hunter can begin to drain the Magical energies form the very air about them. The result is a feeling of coldness as the Mana is pulled into a vortex and locked away. Note that the accumulated Mana is not destroyed only stored. This often times is used by hunters trying to prevent a charge up attack, but requires two things of them;

1) They must remain stationary the entire process as the funnel must remain stationary to effectively drain the Mana.
2) The spell must not be more powerful than the hunter. In terms of levels a Hunter can only drain magic in an area that is no more powerful than they are. The spell Level must match the Hunter’s Level or be lesser for the Hunter to be able to drain the Magic.*
3) Cannot be used against instant cast spells, unless the funnel of energy is up ahead of time.
4) Drusilia has found that while she cannot safely store spells of a higher level when using her ability to drain magic, she can act as a pseudo magical lightning rod, taking those enchantments onto her. When using her Drain Magic ability, Drusilia may become the target (or victim) of any spells she attempts to manipulate.
5) Drusilia has found that while in trance, and focused upon the mana within her, she can use her nullstone to dissipate the energies, tearing them to shreds. This has the effect of corrupting the mana to a useless agent.

Ability rewarded*here.
Point 4 clarified*here.

Magical Abomination –*Passive/Hunter*- The act of destroying mana has caused the fragments of this corrupted energy to hover about Drusilia as a cloud. The effects of this, is that she emits a palpable aura to any magic wielder in an area. Whenever these mages draw upon their magic, they will feel her presence, only briefly as a warning in the back of their head. This can be unnerving to those unused to it, but often serves as their only sign that she is alive and nearby.

Removed from Time's Flow – Passive/Hunter – Drusilia has removed herself from magic so thoroughly she leaves no ripples in the stream of time to be observed by divination. Any attempt to divine her location or information about her will fail if done through magical means. A scry of her location will produce no effect, though smarter people might scry the people known to associate with her. If they should do so, she will not appear in the picture, and cannot be heard. However a canny observer might pick up information from context clues, much like someone listening in to one half of a phone conversation.

Lightning Rod –*Hunter*– Drusilia has learned to use Anti-magic in a new and unexpected way. By infusing an arrow with anti-magic in a proper polarity it acts as a magnet. While this use of anti-magic is utterly useless to the Drow as a form of personal defense, she can imbue an item with the proper polarity, allowing her to once per thread cause a magical effect in the area to hit the item, instead of the intended target. Her favorite target for it is one of the two long swords she wields. She has been known to affect her arrows with this type of anti-magic, causing spells to chase after them.

Speak Tradespeak –*Language*– Drusilia can read and speak Tradespeak the common language of Althanas.

Speak Drow –*Language*– Drusilia can read write and speak Drow the common language of her guild and Alerar.

Speak Elven –*Language*– Drusilia can read write and speak Elven the common language of Raiaera.

Inventory:

2 Titanium long swords. (spoil awarded here.)
1 Oak Bow
12 steel and oak arrows
Traveling Necessities such as flint tinder and water flasks
Arctic hide leather dyed black purchased from Eluriand here.

One Null Stone - A special stone capable of creating an anti magical aura of twenty feet in diameter*for fifteen seconds. It can only be used once a fight or twice a quest and will stop any ongoing magical effects upon use. During the time frame no magic can be used, and magical items will act as their mundane counterparts*within the sphere. Leaving the sphere restores the magical properties of items, and upon reentering the items retain their magical properties. Essentially once the item leaves the area of influence, it "recharges' and works again. Activation takes concentrated willpower from a Mage Hunter (it need not be the owner as Mage Hunters are trained in the use of a null stone) so abilities that disorient or nauseate the Mage Hunter (including interaction between Drusilia and any magical effect) can interfere with activation of the stone. It may be used twice in a quest with the character requiring a days rest to reset the number of charges, and the character must wait at least ten posts before activating it again. Magical effects in the area end, however new magical effects can enter the area but cannot originate or manipulate things within said area.

Cloak of Draconus: This is a sea serpent cloak, of excellent craftsmanship. While it doesn’t have any magical properties, it provides excellent protection against frost and fire attacks. It should be noted that sustained heat or cold can still affect the wearer.*

Khal'jaren’s Hope: This is a small glowing ball, no bigger than an egg and covered with ancient forgotten script. It can provide a small amount of light in an emergency, but its main purpose is revealed when in contact with someone’s skin. The ball can casts away fear and doubt, from even magical sources. It doesn’t affect rage or confusion however.

Disadvantages:

Wanted for Murder - Druisilia has been associated with the murders of Duke Gallen Cormyr and his personal servant Reeves. Should Druisilia be spotted at ALL by the Corone Guard she is now Kill on Sight.

Arrogant – Drusilia is bold, brash, and arrogant. Often she will be found taunting and teasing her prey as a cat does before she finishes them off.

DawnBringer – Drusilia Liadon is a Dawnbringer and as such is subject to any and all scrutiny that accompanies such an acts. No matter what she says or does, she is known throughout the land. Once anyone figures out who she is they will know what she is and does, she cannot hide it. This may cause her to be subject to certain obligations she must perform or create a bias against her as she is not “Living up to her fame” should she shirk these obligations.

History:

Drusilia Liadon began life as a simple Drow child. Trained from a young age in the art of military combat she worked with the sword and the bow. Upon completing she was entered into the branch of service developed in order to counter the High Elf bards of Raiaera. Her guild is a hive of assassins and hunters designed to bring down magic users without resorting to the very use of magic they despise. As Raiaera uses an anti technological barrier, this often results in these people being trained in low grade technology that fall under the primitive restrictions of the High Elves.

Drusilia was developed with a deep simmering hatred of any elf not immediately identifiable as a Drow. This often leads to her having disdain even for half elves as nothing more than a natural curiosity. This often led to large problems that eventually lead to her expulsion form the ranks. One day she spoke too much to a Half Drow outsider, who ended up being related to an ambassador to Corone. Her punishment while not harsh or severe was that she could never set foot in her homeland again. To this day she continues the hunt assured that if she kills the right High elf, she will be reinstated in her order.

Traveling about the area she has gone through the lands of Raiaera if only to sneak through to the ports. Upon getting out of the land she cursed she made her way to Corone where she could begin to refine her skill. While she cannot go home she will not give up the hunt. Making her home in a small camp in Concordia she will often be seen harassing passerby if they get too close to their camp, and a few bodies of mages have been found in the immediate area. Upon checking these corpses the mages are found stripped of any magical entities and money.

She will continue her sworn duty until such time as she is ordered to stop. And with her expulsion form the ranks of Aberration Hunters that may not be anytime soon…

Level 1

Drusilia has begun a spree of terror against the abominations as she begins to hunt them on the streets of Radasanth. Her mission is to kill as many before forced to retreat, and as the attack count rises, she hopes the lethality will as well…

Level 2

Drusilia has since escaped to the lands of Raiarae. Her journey to get back into Alerar has driven her to fight against the undead, in the hopes of finding one of the Bladesingers she had been created to destroy. The end result was that she has slowly begun to bleed out the hatred and resentment she had for everything in her life, realizing that she was only externalizing the hate that had caused her to be exiled in the first place. In the continent of death she had finally figured out how to live.

Traveling now with Godhand Striker, she has accomplished no mean feat in destroying Darris Warsong, Killian Grimstone, and Aegon Warsmith. With the Necrosition down to two remaining members, Drusilia has vowed to finish the task that Godhand has started, by hunting down Nialon Sunscar while Godhand even now prepares for the final showdown with the Necrosition leader, Lord Colin Crowley.

Levels 3 and 4

Drusilia has managed to infiltrate her way into the depths of Raiarae, learning from her past mistakes. In doing so she practiced with her sword, going through techniques and forms until she could at least fight on par with Nialon Sunscar. In a nearly suicidal move she caught the liche off guard, and managed to use Godhand's sword to defeat the creature, sealing his soul into the muramasa of the great mercenary.

Shortly thereafter she had been forced to find her way back into the besieged town of Eluriand. In doing so she reconnected with the wayward mercenary who had brought the nWo with him as insurance against the final bastion of the dwindling Necrosition. In a fight that saw each fight to the edges of their limits, Drusilia was nearly killed by Lord Colin Crowley, were it not for Godhand Striker smashing the skull of the liche open with his Muramasa. The battle over, the Drow waited as the motley crew of misfits set explosives through the liches' tomb destroying their phylacteries, and their tenuous grip on the mortal planes.

Biding her time the Drow has lessened her hatred of all things she readily called abominations. She had found her racist hatred simmered to a cool loathing of the Elves. With little patience for the martyr most elves play in the war, she has taken to biting her tongue, unless one such elf pushes their martyrdom upon her.

Then, in no uncertain terms does she rebuke their foolish viewpoint.

Mid Level 4 Update

Drusilia has gone to wandering the world in the wake of the death of Godhand Striker. She has kept her instincts honed and sharp and dealt with a few of the necromancer left in the wake of Xem’zund’s attack on Raiaera. Having destroyed the largest of their enclaves the Drow has helped the local forces recognize the signs of necromantic cults and moved on. As far as she is concerned Raiaera can burn in all nine layers of hell, for she has nothing that makes her want to return there.

The Mage Hunter remains exiled form her homeland and is Kill on Sight in Corone. She is a xenos that the people of Fallien fear and in Dheathain the mundane populace is in fear of her. Everywhere she goes she is recognized or feared due to her prodigious talents and that’s fine with her. The world needs a new force to replace that which was lost by Godhand Striker. He managed to pull the titans of the world together, and if he could do it, she knew she could as well.

Drusilia moves taking out threats before they become too large.*

Level 5 Update

The Cell has called, and Drusilia has answered. Being the sole survivor of the Emma chamber, Drusilia met a few problematic mages in the forms of Tiefling and a Fallien woman. The later being nothing more than a curiosity as of late it is the former that truly worries her. The man was a crass individual that seemed keen on causing as much chaos as mortally possible.

The Felicity chamber is the one that truly tested her mettle. In the form of a young Coronian woman she finally met her match, the girl going move for move with her as she constantly underestimated the mageling named Faelynn. The girl took her to her limits before the intervention of Tinnerad Orlouge saw what little fight was left in the drow eliminated, having been infected by the homunculi abomination called Draug. She now rests and recovers from the mysterious plague that afflicts her as she waits to see who will move on in the call to glory.

Level 6 Update

Drusilia was eliminated in the second round of the tournament, and stayed for a short while to recover from the battles that saw her laid low. Upon trying to leave Sei Orlouge had other plans for the Mage Hunter and captured her, resulting in her conscription into the Ixian Knights. Newly inducted, the Hero of Alerar sent her to the Red Forest to hunt the witch Pode. There she would be handed off to Talen Shadowwalker, and hopefully be put to good use in the forest.

While being led through the forest, Talen proved to be every bit as bad a tour guide as he joked, leading them into an ambush by a treant. Drusilia, seizing the moment, took the opportunity to shed the Ixian retinue she had been given and in doing so moved deeper into the forest. Confronted by Pode, she was given three harsh truths to accept.

She had fallen in love with Godhand Striker when they were battling the liches of the Necrosition. It was a truth that she knew deep in her heart, but never accepted. More brutal was her place among the Dawnbringers. Each bore a light into the darkness when they confronted Xem'Zund. This was the light that they brought to the fight, a shining beacon that allowed the Elves of Raiarae to not only rally, but rout Xem'Zund and force that fateful confrontation. Godhand had the Zeal of Life, a passion that undeath could never halt. It was this passion that Drusilia had found alluring when she had fallen for Godhand, and while the two of them had never been lovers, part of Drusilia died, when she watched Godhand's final strike against the Necromancer.

Drusilia, was the light of Hope. A beacon for the port city of Anebrillith she had lit a fire in the hearts of the elves, helping them hold out against a seige that by all intents should have ended in the city's capitulation. Those who lived in the city even briefly learned that the Drow that lived there was the main reason it survived so long. Her ability to hunt mages allowing them to thin the officers from the ranks of the undead. It was this beacon of light.

The final, harshest truth, was that if she continued her fight against Pode, the Red Witch would work every ounce of her magic to shatter the Drow. It would not be enough to kill her, she wanted Drusilia to beg for her life. This was the easiest truth to accept, for the Drow knew that any confrontation between the two would be on that level. To defy the Forgotten Ones was to become a living legend. How many other names had become rising stars for such acts? Moving deeper into the forest she learned the truth, when Pode summoned the ranks of monsters at her beck and call to hunt the huntress, turning her into prey.

Here Drusilia managed to run into the criminals Logan Mc'Cloud and Max Dirks. War made strange bedfellows and the Drow found her lot thrown in with the Illicit Entrepreneur, and the Psionic Mastermind. Moving deeper into the woods, they seemed to bring the Forest alive, uncovering burrow after burrow of wretched creatures at the command of Pode. In moving through the area, Dirks finally revealed the plot, Drusilia was a Dawnbringer, and the High Council knew it. Left to her own devices they knew the Drow could strike a fatal blow to the Red Witch.

They had placed considerable power behind the Dawnbringer of Hope, offering full pardons to the Psion and the Criminal in return for Drusilia's safe escort to one of four groves that acted as Anchors for the curse of the Red Forest. Drusilia was to hunt a creature that Pode used as an alarm system for anyone who would disturb the groves. Upon slaying it they bathed her in its blood, then thrust her towards the clearing, in the hopes her Null Stone would shut off the barrier protecting it and allowing her access to a private sanctum of the Red Witch.

Drusilia moves even now towards the grove, null stone in hand, and anti-magic spent. Almost out of options the Drow knows she will need more than her near empty quiver to end this fight.
