Personality: Rossi is an all round friendly character who seems a little old fashioned in her ways. Having been the Captain of her own frigate zeppelin and manning it with a crew made solely of robots and cyborgs meant she's was always happy to return back to her grounding point and home. She has a robust personality that's seems to be able to withstand any harsh blow, letting sly comments fly over her head. Positive outcomes only. That's her motto.
History: Rossi wants to stay as human as possible, despite the fact that her occupation requires her to be heavily modified. The only mods she has are the inevitable medical reinforcements that come along with the dangers of being an engineer; new hands, for example- the skin has been toughened along with the bones but they look, feel and react like the real thing. There's a mystery behind her age too- something has been keeping her alive for longer than the average human and if anyone can figure it out, she'd be happy to know. But for now she passes it off as a healthy diet and walking on the wild side, which she strives to live by as she's had her fair share of deadly diseases and was even out for the count when they found a brain tumour. Luckily, her mind has been the key to her advancements within her field and she has managed to develop new tools and equipment to sustain herself while remaining well blended in with the rest of the world.
She travelled everywhere in her pride and joy, it was one of the biggest of it's kind and definitely the most well armed. As an efficient miner of all ores, mineral and other goods- she takes no risks when it comes to protecting her cargo. Especially seeming as when she's having to collect things, she's a sitting duck until it done. Sadly however, it had to be left behind- badly damaged and without the equipment to repair it, she has had to leave it behind, for now.
It can be months at a time before she returns home but she makes a point of doing so, if only to make sure her friends haven't got into any more trouble. She doesn't tell them about her mishaps and times spent under medical care, that's a worry that they doesn't need. Besides, all time away can be hidden with the excuse of mining for precious ore's and working on her mysterious projects. She's trying her hardest to open up a little more, but it’ difficult for her to let people in.
Appearance: It would be great to say she’s a slender, beautiful specimen but that would be a lie. Rough around the edges Rossi’s auburn hair is always pulled back in a scruffy bun and her athletic build half hidden underneath her oil stained working clothes. She can often be found in her scuffed leather boots, thick leggings and a cotton shirt which she tries to keep clean but the oil never washes out so well. Her weight is actually down to the modifications she’s made to her body and the extra muscle that’s built up to deal with it. She’s not butch, but she’s not a feather either. It’s all been a natural build up from carting around engine parts to daily exercise to increase her dexterity.
Being a red head doesn’t mean she’s pasty- having spent a great deal of time outside and mashing things together she has been blessed with sun kissed skin, roughened by her trade. Supporting a proud grin and a chiseled chin, her green eyes are sure to sparkle and make up for her lack of “conventional feminism”.
Skills:
Engineering - Rossi has intimate knowledge of almost anything that can be build. It has been her mission to learn everything and master the mechanics of life.
Chivalry - She has a strong moral compass and is always there when someone is in need. They say chivalryy is long dead but this girl has kept the spark alive.
Knife Skills - there’s not much she can’t do with her hunting knife and she knows everything from defence to hunting to even turning it into a makeshift tool. It’s never let her down.
Pilot - She was the captain of a zeppelin at one point but it's not just large aircraft that she can lend her skills to. Rossi knows how to man most vehicles should the need arise.
Abilities:
Eidetic memory - Rossi’s brain is the key to all the developments she has made. Being able to recall any event, thing she has seen, heard or even smelt. Great in a pinch but also a small curse.
It’s the reason she can fix or make almost anything.
