Bella’s Story: Hunt for an Enchanted Mirror

Once upon a time, in a world of many wonders, there lived a little girl with no one. No one to tell her what to do. No one to tell her no. No one to say stop that or pick up your room. No one to help her when she was hurt. No one to feed her. No one to be proud of her. No, this girl, Bella, was completely alone.

It wasn’t always like that. Her first four years of her life. She had a family. Her parents grew flowers and made arrangements to sell to the nearby city. Then one day, a man came and demanded money from her father. He refused and tried his best to fight the man. However, the man was too strong and defeated Bella’s father.

After Bella’s father died the man and his group of thugs ransacked the house and stole everything inside. Bella’s mother was then taken away and Bella left all alone, hidden under the floor boards. After the last man left, Bella left her hiding spot and looked around. There was nothing left, except for the furniture and the body of her father. Bella walked to her dad and shook him as she cried, “Daddy!”

After a few attempts to wake him she laid on top of him and cried. After a few hour of non stop crying, she finally sat up and wiped away her tears. She stood up and started to walk away from her father. Before she went out the door she stopped and looked back, but quickly turned away and ran towards the village.

Once in the village, she looked for help, however, no one would help her. No one could help her. An extra mouth to feed was too much for them, so they just gave her a sad no and walked away. With a dejected sigh, she returned to her home, where she would live all alone for a year.
