This isn't exactly a submission, more of a question, please excuse if this is the wrong place to post it, I thought it might be alright as it pertains specifically to the region!
SO... having created a Draconian (pending approval), I'm curious... how many people out there actually speak "Dheath," or as it's known in the real world : Gaeilge (Irish Gaelic)? I am by no means fluent as Gaeilge, but am studying...uh...diligently (*crosses fingers*) to get there.
Dheath -at least in the traveller's guide to Dheathain- seems to be predominantly Gaeilge, with some GÃ*idhlig (Scots Gaelic) thrown in- that and I'm sure some things that are made up, I'm just curious to see how we all get along understanding each other XD
Is there going to be a standard of language- choose one of the Gaelic languages as Dheath and stick with it? I mean, people could be throwing in Manx, or if they're very confused, Cymraeg.
Well, this is a fantasy board and the main thing to do is have fun here, so we don't dwell too much on language. All inhabitants of Dheathain speak Dheath, it's their regional language. However, around 70-80% of the population are also fluent in Common and Tradepskea. As you're knew, Common is basically the common language around all of Althanas. Humans speak it the most, as do travellers and the such. Tradespeak is used amongst traders, merchants, inn and tavern owners. Things like that.
Outside of Dheathain, there would be few people who speak Dheath, Karuka Tida's character being one of them. However, if your character can speak Gaelic then he can understand Dheath for the most part.

just wondering (assuming anyone has managed to miss it) i have a question for a character in Luthmor http://www.althanas.com/world/showth...ewpost&t=18208
Basically it would be bending the canon, i'm wondering if I would be allowed, the thread may not even involve stating the outcome of the treatment that will occur outside of the interaction within, but it would include an attempt that was successful - to a point.
I'd just like a Yes or a No, so I know to find a new idea or not.

I too, actually have a submission/question.
I've gone through your draconian gods, and I think one more should be added. While I don't have anything specific in mind, I think you should have one for luck. As many people refer luck in general as Lady Luck or something like that, I think there should be a draconian god for it as well. However, I may be mistaken, and one of the gods is already in charge of things like that. If so, which? If not, well...you already know.

The Draconians God section is actually incomplete. I plan on adding a few more to the list, as well as some possible Demi-Gods, though they won't be as intensive since they won't control much. Just be children of the Gods themselves and things like that. Sadly, school and work and a social life keep me from seriously working on the religion at the moment. However, if you'd like to attempt coming up with some Gods, go for it. I'll gladly look them over.

I think I will tonight. I'll come up with a couple of Gods, and maybe a couple demi-gods if I get around to it. I'll PM you tomorrow with the details and profiles of them. I also had some additions to the beastiary, including that creature we were talking about earlier, but again, tomorrow.
