    The Patriarch

    Name: The Patriarch
    Age: Unknown
    Race: Siring Demon
    Hair Color: Bald
    Eye Color: Blank white
    Height: 5'10"
Weight: 145 lbs (keep in mind, he has no fluid in his body)
    Occupation: Kingmaker

Personality: The Patriarch considers himself to be the greatest villain in the history of Althanas, despite his relative anonymity. There may be some merit to that claim. It isn’t at all unlikely that the Patriarch has affected your character’s life, in a way that your pathetic and limited understanding of the universe could never grasp or understand. He is sadistic and cruel, and he prides himself on his superior intellect. He is arrogant, but only towards those to whom he views as his inferior.

Appearance: Save for a particularly ugly visage, the Patriarch is not particularly remarkable. He dresses finely, in Raiaeran silks, and often wears white frilled shirts. He is completely bald, and his skin, though quite coarse, resembles that of a human. If not for the fact that he had a wrinkled brow and clear white eyes, he would pass for a human in most situations.

    Skills and Abilities

Recruitment: Anyone who The Patriarch bites does not become an undead, but they fall under his control. They go about their lives normally, but if The Patriarch is to give them a command, they have no choice but to comply. People who The Patriarch have bitten remain normal, save for two new canines which they can use to create their own minions. Some of his minions do not even know they are under his sway. Minions created by The Patriarch’s minions answer to both their sire and The Patriarch. A minion can be freed the link between himself and The Patriarch is severed. At most, at one time, The Patriarch can actively control thirty people, but he can control them from anywhere on the world. He is also able to look through the eyes of any of his minions, regardless of where they are in Althanas.

Teleportation: The Patriarch can teleport at will. However if he teleports from a spot, he must appear in a different continent as a result of his teleportation. He also cannot reenter the first continent for three days after having teleported from it.

Swordsmanship: Though he does not concern himself normally with melee combat, The Patriarch is a very experienced fencer, and would defeat most average fighters in single combat without much difficulty. He can prevail over even the best, though the outcome against them is far less certain.

Marksmanship: The Patriarch is adequately skilled with crossbows and firearms. He considers bows beneath him.

    Equipment

Mythril Schiavona: This weapon is not particularly significant in any meaningful way. It should be noted that The Patriarch considers weapons made of any other material to be less civilized.

Hand Crossbow: Another weapon only significant by the fact The Patriarch keeps it. While his marksmanship is not nearly as proficient as his swordsmanship, he is adequate. Additionally, his mythril bolts fly faster than heavier metals.

History: The Patriarch’s precise origins are unknown, as is his age. However, it would suffice to say that he is very old. There is a Raiaeran legend that he was formed by a sinister fragment of the magical tap, though it is most likely untrue. He has spent his known existence creating and strengthening his army of minions, to the point where most of Athanas’ most important organizations have at least one person within them who is but a puppet for The Patriarch. In recent times, he was recruited by Xem’zund to join his forces of darkness, despite the fact The Patriarch was known to be untrustworthy. Surprisingly, The Patriarch refused. It is likely he has his own separate agenda in the oncoming chaos, and will likely want to pick up the pieces. In as much as he is involved directly in the conflict, it will likely be to even the scales and ensure the greatest number of casualties for all the sides involved.

    Out of Character:
I forgot to mention this. Everyone on the forum is welcome to use The Patriarch. However, if you use him in a quest, please PM me because I would like to read it. Thank you.
