Appearance: A tall, well built human male. Long black hair is pulled back and up into a traditional topknot that is often out of sight under armour. His eyes are a deep brown, interstruk with spikes of green, and when recalled are always a little different in each story. not uncommonly have they been told to be a swirrling vortex of briliant green right before an opponent's downfall. Attributed to the shock of such an imagination than anything else.

Abilities: Percieved Time dilation. ((This is an old idea I wanted to revisit. Musashi has the ability to slow down his perception of time, and as such: allow him to react to events nearly instantly. Mechanically this translates to Musashi being percieve theings happening at about 2x slower than they are and to *begin* reacting to things instantly as this ability does nothing to his actual eyesight nor his physical speed.))
Quick draw. ((when wielding his blade, Musashi moves with twice(2x) the speed of an average swordsman, proof of his mastery of Iaido and kendo through his years of training this fine art and often the move to finish a duel is his first.))
Intense focus. ((During battle. In a move that would gain him a superior position, Musashi once allowed a near crippling blow to land against him so Musashi could claim a killing blow against the skilled asailent. After years of medition and study he has perfected this form that he may ignore a single wound that would fell a normal man.))
Equipment: Traveling light keeps the traveling safe. As such Musashi does so with: Steel Katana sword, Steel Wakizashi. Cloth Hakama. Traveling pack with small pouches and hunting supplies.
History: Musashi Mitsuru was a warrior from an early age. His father, Hitoma was a sight to behold in full ceremonal armour and blades and the full inspiration for Musashi. Paths of honor, and swordsmanship were the only two he wished to walk. It wasn't long until the school in the city capital accepted him with a dignified grace that only the established were able to portray. The school broadened both his mind and horizons. Learning of all the ways a man may make his way in the world. but he was set on his own path, and there would be ways to combine the two.
He grew quickly, in mind, body and spirit. He learned and mastered Iaido and kendo before the tea ceremony and caligraphy. Musashi learned of the world beyond his own country and longed to see it. To work, as his father had done in distant lands battling untold terrors, rescuing wealth and beauty before he returned home and married. Musashi quietly ached for it. To finish his studies and leave for the real world beyond stories and walls of where he needed to grow.
A few more years passed and he had tempered his impatience to a cool, immoveabe resolve as it had cost him more than a hurting neck more than once in training. He had truly mastered Iaio. Any who neither expected such an attack or knew of Musashi were defeated in the single flourish of the dulled blade, but now was the day he was given to leave his home in search of stories and courage. The people knew that one can only grow so much until you need to enter a new garden. And as such the pilgramige was given to those who came of age. Weapons passed from father to son, gifts of food and supplies arrived from friends and relatives and sooner than even Musashi would admit he was comfortable with,he was ready to leave. His father, as tradition and family dictated, went with him to the docks. The large ship that would carry Musashi across the water to the rest of the world.
