The wind whistled through the eaves of Radasanth's famous Bazaar district, carrying the sounds and smells of a sturdy day's work. Hawkers stood along the side of the road, selling freshly seared meats and a wide variety of trinkets. Hammers rung upon anvils and heated metal hissed at being doused in water barrels. All manner of folk milled about, moving from shop to stall purchasing an odd here and an end there. White fluffy clouds meandered about the blue sky, too thin and wispy to shield the people below from the sun's strong golden rays.
Jacob Narmolanya rode through the Bazaar, wind stirring his long green woolen cloak and tousling his dirty blond hair. The half elf had recently entered into the Blaze International tourny, and wanted to make sure he brought the best weaponry possible into battle. His horse Gunner trotted to a stop outside of the youth's favorite archery shoppe and Jake dismounted with a flourish, knotting Gunner's reins around a stout wooden post and patting the horse's short dappled grey neck.
A set of brass chimes jangled as Jake entered the shoppe, and a bespectacled worker looked up from behind the counter. The walls were lined with racks bearing all manner of archery equipment; longbows, horsebows, even recurve bows like the one Jake carried in a case on his back. There were also a range of arrows and targets in evidence, and the glass counter displayed a myriad of differently shaped arrowheads forged from a variety of metals.
"A fine day," Jake said by way of greeting, "I was wondering how much it would cost to have this upgraded to Ulder wood." He uncased his redwood recurve bow and placed it on the counter. "Also, what's the cost for a dozen redwood and mythril arrows?" The half elf wanted to know. "The type with bodkin heads, meant for piercing armor." He specified.
Out of Character:
