There are some Hobbit/Link overlaps, but the less than heroic archetype and FFVI "Setzer" attitude blend into something unique. 2/10; not cliche at all.

Storm is a unique blend of so many archetypes and literal characters I find it hard to think he is exactly "cliche". He is mostly just an excellent adaptation of one or two set literal characters into the Althanas setting, and it works so overly well. 2/10

While I might kid Logan about being a "highlander" given that his name is exactly the same as Grettir's best friend in Grettir the strong, he's definitely not a copy of that character, nor do I, having read many fantasy works, consider him a cliché. 2 out of 10

5/10 Seems like a typical white male hero with pure morals who is a natural leader at first glance. And the story of betrayal with his father doesn't seem unusual to me. However, I love that he is shown to use more speed and is a duel-blade user, as opposed to the usual sturdy longsword user reliant on strength. And the blacksmith asset is awesome too, adding a layer of "average." to him. I like this character, regardless of how original he may or may not be.

LD - At first I thought I was reading a Danaerys Targarean retread, but then quickly realized that aside from the hair and the crazy she's really not anything like her. Character is still pre-power for the most part, so may some day develop into a cliche, but for now you get a 0.5/10.

6/10 She's a tomboy who can do all the things any guy could. And she's an orphan. The mechanic side adds more flair other though, genius mechanics and engineering isn't a trait too many female characters have, at least from what I've seen.

I haven't actually read many posts so I can only go from the profile, but from the profile it seems she has no real weaknesses only strengths. Then you've got the typical young teenage fighter who can do all these fighting styles.

I like the whole neanderthal mix into the character and the speech mannerisms which make them more unique of a person
