So, for those who do not have Word, I found this.

The bottom as a code that can be copies and pasted anywhere on a website that will then be able to allow writers to see there word count.

I thought this might be helpful.

I've tried to code a word count function into Althanas in the past, but I kept running into an error where the counter would count all of the hidden info in a post. This includes the metadata, postbit info, etc. The code provided on your linked website would do the same thing, so it's just not practical to program it in. If you see anything else though, let me know. An active word count is something I've been interested in for a long time.
