I bought an enchanted glass eye here that gives an white outline around everyone Quentin can see.

How much would it cost to make the outline change to red for people that pose a threat? This would be based around Quentin's Street Smarts ability.

Also, how much would it cost to make it so Quentin can see outlines of people through walls/doors/etc? I'd limit it only being able to see outlines of people within six feet of the other side of the wall.

And two more related quotes, please...

Do both at the same time, but only give white outlines for people behind walls.

Both at the same time, including the red outline for threats behind walls.

Well, the changing an outline to red is a minimal change I think since a "threat" really is in the eye of the beholder. Get it?! I'm a riot, I know.

So for the red outline on "threats" would be a measly 75 GP upgrade.

Now for the seeing outlines through walls, I would have to say that alone, compounding with the other enchants, runs you up to 150 to add it.

Combo them as you see fit. If you want visual targets to be red, but white if behind walls, that'd be your prerogative. I'd personally find it hard to consider anything a threat unless Quen had confirmed it to be one prior to going behind something. Now, if you're talking IFF technology, I don't see how that would work based on the rules of magic. Maybe if someone has ill intent they are red?

If you are more talking about that, then 150 for red outlines based on bad will.

I'm going to assume you mean 'Identify Friend or Foe' when you say IFF. In which case, I'm going to link it to Quentin's Street Smarts ability, which is going to be upgraded (hopefully) so that he can read/identify individual people as well as just the general 'mood' of a place.

The red-outline enchantment will essentially just be a visual feedback for that ability, if that makes sense?
