Light and Dark. Kirin could understand that well enough. He'd walked that line every day for most of his life, after all. More than most, he understood the careful balance between the two. "What about this event? Will it shift things for darkness? Or is it a dark event, and will light rise up after it? Can we be sure nothing will try to come in here? How long will the ash fall?"
