As writers, we are our own biggest critiques. We see flaws in our writing that sometimes don't really exist and others don't pick up on, and sometimes hate rereading our own threads because we see so much wrong with them. It is good to reflect on our writing and pick up what we don't like so we can improve, but it is equally important to think about and reflect on the good writing we have done. So in order to try and spark some positive reflection, I wanted to start this thread here. Please link your favorite thread you have written and explain why this thread was your favorite. What did you like about writing it, and what really made you proud as a writer?
I'll start:
My favorite thread so far has to be The Gathering. While it Is not quite done yet (less than 1/2 way done), it is by far the best writing I have ever done. Gavner and I are spending a lot of time really making sure there is a great flow and coherent story while keeping the writing interesting. The writing is way better than my first threads I ever wrote here, and I can really tell the difference. I feel as though I can really get into the posts, it pulls me in every time I have to reread a post to write another and revitalizes my interest in the thread. I love this thread, and we hope we can try to finish by the end of the year. It's also awesome to think that at the rate we are going, we'll have about 150,00 words by the end, equivalent to a mid length novel.
So what is your favorite thread you have written?
