    The Abomination 9.0

    Out of Character:
Last profile: here. Due to level moving, everyone skipped a level so I didn't miss level 6. This thread encompasses three entire level updates. Updates in dark red. Also, I've removed the regeneration ability since the ability to grow body parts already covers it, I've augmented that ability to be more specific about this merger. I've also overhauled assimilation so it made more sense.

    Name: Draug Remi
Aliases: The Ixian Killer, The Abomination, Cassandra's Champion, The Son of The Cult, The Dark Son
    Race: Humanoid Homunculus
    Hair Color: Shoulder-length, blonde
Eye Color: Black pupils, yellow iris, everything else black.
    Height: 6'3
Build: 500 lbs, compressed down to a muscular build befitting someone weighing 200 lbs.

Personality: Draug is a psychopath; he holds no empathy for others and sees them as ants beneath him. He views everyone as spare parts for harvesting at his leisure. Killing means nothing to him, like stepping on one of the ants. He is more interested in inflicting terror than harm, and will stop at nothing to modify his body for what he believes is perfection.

Appearance: Long blonde hair that covers one eye. Black pupils and yellow irises surrounded by darkness in his eyes. Deep rings of exhaustion hang around his eyes. He wears a long, black cloak, and his entire upper body up to his neck, including his hands, are covered with thick bandages that start bleeding when in battle. His body has become so unstable that he has to literally wrap himself up to stay together. Below the bandages are black pants and black boots. His mouth is usually slightly open, revealing traces of his carnivorous fangs. His nails are also pointed and sharp. Below his neck, every single other part of his body is not his own. The various amalgamations of body parts are stitched together all over. He has transmutation circles carved into each of his palms.

History: Draug lived his life like any other. He grew up in a small town, lived with his wife and kids, and went to work every day. Then, he was kidnapped, and subjected to the tortures endured in The Cult of Blessed Torture's 'ghoul' program, which consisted of decent human beings who were forced to watch people getting tortured over and over and they were fled the flesh of the victims along with their meals. Over time they became gibbering wrecks and tossed the food in exchange for flesh. Then they were infused with demonic essences to mutate their bodies into bulky freaks.

He became a mindless monster, depraved like the rest of Cassandra Remi's minions. One night he was out for a kill, craving flesh and blood, and inadvertently saved Cassandra's youngest daughter of 12 years, Catherine. His kill of Catherine's attacker was coincidental, but Cassandra saw fit to reward him with another experimental program of horror. With ancient texts of alchemy and long-forgotten spells, what shred of humanity he had disappeared from his body, and he became a soulless being known as a homunculus. His mind returned, but it was a shell, a fabrication of a human mind. He no longer desired flesh, no longer sought out sadistic joys. All he wanted now was to please his new mother, Cassandra Remi.

His body became unstable, his very genetic material malleable and sensitive to magic and alchemy. His cells started rapidly regenerating, which gave Cassandra the idea to infect him with a new type of plague. While it would kill a normal person in hours, Draug was able to contain the disease as a host, which started mutating rapidly. As time goes on, his body becomes more like a death trap. The result, however, was that his organs would constantly start failing, and he had to replace them all the time. However, his demeanor was eerily stable. He became a killer with no remorse, but also no joy from the kill.

    ~Non-Physical Abilities~
Summary: Being a Homunculus, Draug has been taught in the ways of alchemy, allowing him to use transmutation circles to alter himself or the world around him.

Recoil: By using his transmutation circles, Draug can create a sympathetic bond with any target within 10 feet. Any damage that he sustains during this bond is mirrored to his opponent, although they have to be within his line of sight. This effect lasts for 2 wounds, and only can be used on two separate targets per day, and not the same one. It is not a perfect spell, so the target may inflict a fatal wound upon Draug and only suffer a moderate one in response. (aka it is up to the victim to determine whether or not it will kill them)

Flesh Golem: Once a day, Draug can clap his hands together to translocate a bunch of stored corpses and create a living monstrosity with them. It is a giant, naked mass of flesh in humanoid shape, with heads and limbs moaning and bleeding all over, towering at 7 feet. Three of its heads are where a normal head should be, its eyes glazed over and its tongues hanging out. Its upper body is much larger than its lower, and its arms are three times the thickness of a normal arm. It possesses 3x strength (can crush iron), although it is weak to non-physical attacks. It also takes 0.5x blood to create.

Transmutation: By using his transmutation circles, he can alter his surroundings within a radius of 30 feet to one of his choosing, be it quicksand, mud, or thorny plants. He can even create water, pits, and stone walls. He can only do this 3 times a day and the effect takes 5 seconds before it fully completes, giving anyone in the vicinity time to escape. He can't make anything colder or hotter, so no ice or fire.

Breeding Pool: Being a creature of alchemy, Draug can use his transmutation circles and create 2 copies of himself per day. These copies have a mind link with him and they think and feel as one. The copies have 1/3 the base stats of Draug at their creation, and any fatal damage they sustain cause them to melt into goop and quickly evaporate. They are unable to use any of Draug's abilities. [Locked into Level 10, but usable in quests with approval right now]

    ~Physical Abilities~
Summary: The natural abilities of your friendly neighborhood Homunculus! These are mostly attributes that increase through the act of assimilation.

Inhuman Existence: Draug's anatomy is a mutating mess that shifts and adapts to the frequent removal and addition of body parts, thus his vital organs are often interchangeable and mutate to fill the roles of failing or destroyed organs. Therefore, he can withstand serious damage and organ failure and function for days. However, the process is not instant, and there is a small delay before he can resume his daily functions. After a few hours his strength and motion control become very limited until he can properly replenish his organ supply.

Blood Compression: Due to his body's ability to store, replace, and utilize blood to form virtually any of his body parts and functions, Draug possesses 3.5x the amount of blood of any normal human.

Homunculus Strength: Draug is now able to bend prevaldia and break all materials weaker than that, and his strongest attacks cause shockwaves that push everything away at a small force.

Homunculus Evasion: 3.5x speed of an average human. He is able to dodge arrows and other projectiles with relative ease, and is able to put up a defense in time from opponents of higher speeds, even if he can't counterattack.

Pain Tolerance - Innate: Draug is able to ignore the results of stimulated nociceptors. The amount of pain he feels is a fraction of that felt by average humans. (gained HERE.)

The Disease: Draug is infected. He is the host to an unstable plague that takes its toll on his organs, forcing him to constantly find replacements. Due his his malleable body, he is able to rip his replacements out of the bodies of his victims and then stick them into his own. If Draug's blood (or any dislodged part of him) splashes/makes contact with someone's body, they will start to experience symptoms of the plague within minutes (coughing, headaches, nausea, weakness, and eventually delirium) until they remove the blood or any other part of Draug they get on them for a long period of time. The plague is too unstable and disappears before any long-term damage is done, but without removing the blood it could take hours before it's gone from their system.
    ------------------------------------------------------------
Body Manipulation: Draug can augment his body to create extra limbs, self-mutilation, stretch his neck or any part of his body, or otherwise manipulate his body in almost any way. This process is as fast as he can move. His manipulations consist of human features such as arms as legs, as well as tentacles and other animal-esque features. Each body part consumes 0.1x blood. (This is an upgraded version of the skill received HERE.) Draug can use this ability to regenerate his body by growing new replacements. Minor wounds such as cuts and burns take 0.05x blood, moderate wounds such as muscle damage, torn flesh, and broken bones take 0.1x blood, and major wounds such as organ and other body part loss takes 0.2x blood. There is also a time delay of major damage of 10 minutes before he's fully healed.

Through experiments, mutilation, and rampant cell growth, he can take Body Manipulation to an extreme and transform his body at all once. While he doesn't gain any physical advantage from transforming, it does increase his size by a few feet and augment his grotesqueness. As his body grows, his skin can't keep up so the skin around his jaw rips apart, revealing all his sharp teeth. He also grows an elongated set of teeth that extends all the way to his ears. More skin sloughs off his body and reveals his muscles and bones.

Draug can transform his appearance to look like anyone he has seen before, as well custom configurations of people that don't exist or people from memories he assimilated.
    ------------------------------------------------------------

    Weapon/Armor Integration:
Draug is able to absorb equipment into his body and compress it so it's unnoticeable in a specific place. Helmets integrate into head, chest armor integrates into chest. Armor that is integrated lies just under his outer layer of skin, offering that second layer of skin the same quality of protection as wearing that piece of armor. He can only go 2 layers deep.

Weapons that are integrated do not offer any protection, but they can be forcefully (and bloodily) expunged to produce a projectile effect, or softly (still bloody) ripped out to use as a weapon. Weapons do not need a specific place of integration, they all float around in his body and he can expel them from any location. Draug can consume the weapons to grow/transform parts of his body into blades. Weapons that are consumed do not return if he loses the body part or transforms it again. For example, he can transform his arm into a giant, steel scythe blade out of a steel sword.
----------CURRENT LIST OF WEAPONS AND ARMOR INTEGRATED-----
    WEAPONS--

    8 Steel Swords.
    8 Iron Daggers.
    3 Steel Daggers.
    1 Steel Mace. (Obtained HERE.)
1 enchanted mythril kunai that magically produces ice burns on contact. (Obtained HERE.)

    ARMOR--
Head - As hard as iron. (layer 2)
Hands - As hard as iron. (layer 2)
Chest - As hard as steel chain mail. (layer 2)
Skin - as hard as lizard hide. (Obtained HERE. layer 1)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Assimilation: Started through the physical contact of The Homunculus with a target of his choosing. When a Homunculus wants to assimilate, its body becomes like a metaphorical sponge and accepts various types of genetic data: ranging from skin or hair contact. This process causes Draug to accumulate bits and pieces of his target's memory, including memories that may be buried so deep that even the target has forgotten them. Assimilation lasts for 5 of Draug's posts. He can use it three times a day.

Stats: Under assimilation, Draug gains 1/3 of the target's stats and adds it to his own. This only applies if the stat is higher than his.
Abilities: Draug steals three abilities of his choice for the duration of the assimilation.
He shares whatever caveats and limitations the target has on those abilities.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Flesh Hounds: Draug can summon dog-like creatures made of pure muscle with featureless heads except for ear holes, noses, and jaws with two layers of sharp teeth in their jaw, which span the entire length of their head. He creates them by throwing up a tumorous lump of flesh that mutates into a flesh hound, and can make 4 per day.

    * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Equipment: Black boots, black cotton pants with a thick belt, black cloak. His clothes are a part of him and can be regenerated in the same manner as his flesh.

The Egg - Having swallowed a magical egg, Draug can now heal three moderate wounds or one fatal round per battle or 24 hours. (LCC Prize)

Let's get down to it. I think it'll be best to go step by step here.

Every familiar, minion, summon or copy that Draug has that is greater than or equal to a normal human is considered an independent ability. Thus, "Flesh Golem," "Breeding Pool" and "Minions" (a combo ability) account for 13 of your 15 alloted abilities at level 9. By my count, you have 14 other abilities so I'd suggest limiting your summons if you want to keep the rest of your abilities.

Additionally, as written both Recoil and Homunculus strength are extreme abilities. Recoil is essentially reverse bunnying because it can be cast at will with a fatal duration. I will allow it under one of three circumstances: 1) the range is reduced to line of sight (much like Aurelianus' recoil-like ability); 2) As written, except it can only be used once per day or; 3) You set a limit usage, but the affect is automatic (in that even a pebble would set it off, like Silence Sei's "Mystic Protection." Homunculus strength is only extreme because you were too vague on what materials are common. Obviously, materials like Titanium and Adamantine aren't common, but other stronger metals might be.

Finally, I'll need you to define "Homunculus Speed" in layman's terms, as 3.5x isn't very specific.

Once you've made initial edits, we'll go from there!

Before I edit, what is 'greater than or equal to a normal human'. Does that mean I can't have summons that are equivalent to a level 1 character without each and every one being counted as an ability? Is there a workaround for this? Otherwise it would be impossible to have a summoner character on Althanas with more than 1 summon. My only solution is making each summon a maximum of 1 thing.

What if I made it blood requirements (the 'mana' that I use), or summon one thing that can separate into smaller things?

That's right, but your analogy is untrue. At level 9 you could have 15 different summons of varying power provided you were willing to forgo all other abilities. Though you were unaware, at Level 5 both of your dogs were considered individual abilities due to the acid attack.

What if I made it blood requirements (the 'mana' that I use), or summon one thing that can separate into smaller things?
You could most certainly do that, but I'd have to see the scope of the ability and its weaknesses before I could determine whether or not it's acceptable. For example, if you summoned 20 rats to go pick at an opponent's body parts and retrieve them for you, that'd likely only be considered a single ability. However, if these rats were Draug sized with a third of your core attributes, you bet your britches they'd be considered individual abilities.

    Hope that makes sense.

Recoil - Line of sight check added.

Strength - Clarified up to what quality he can break.

    Speed - Clarified.

Flesh Hounds/Minions - Only one summon now

Breeding Pool - putting it on hold

I added some caveats that in quests most of these summoning limitations aren't necessary, so as long as it's not a competition and approved it's okay.

Thanks for making the changes. I went through the rest of the profile, and here's a list of the things I need you to do:

    1) Change recoil to total uses rather than type of effect because what is fatal or moderately damaging to one character might not be fatal or moderately damaging to another. For example, a strong downward slash from a character with a low defense might recoil to kill the character. In contrast, a weak downward slash from a character with a high defense would likely not be fatal upon recoil.
    2) Comparing blood compression and body manipulation, it seems you can create 35 new limbs before death. I would like you to incorporate flesh golem with your existing mana draw system. Please specify how many limbs it takes to make the golem.
    3) With body manipulation, it is unclear whether Draug uses a straight draw system or a time regeneration system. Does Draug regenerate blood? If so, please specify at what rate because this will be considered a separate ability
    4) An ability that is still usable in quests is not locked. Please either include Breeding Pool, or don't.
    5) Homunculus Strength is too powerful. The highest "attribute" we allow is 10x. That would be akin to bending prevalida.
    6) Let's simplify weapon/armor integration. If you own it, you can assimilate it. That way you don't need the damascus or mythril limitations. Speciality materials such as Titanium, Adamantine and Icemold are excluded, of course. I'm considering your pieces as "layers." Each layer counts as an individual ability. Right now, you're at 16 abilities, so if you reduce it to two layers, you'll meet.
    7) Assimilation still needs a time limit. Unlimited ability assimilation is extreme.
    8) You made flesh hounds too vague. If you produce individual hounds I need to know how many. If you intend to only produce the 4 foot tall monster, you need to specify that.

Please clarify/edit these things and we should be able to get this finished ASAP!

    1) Done. 4 uses.
    2) Even if it costs blood, extra flesh golems count as extra abilities so I can still only cast 1 for it to count as 1 ability, right? I added a 0.5x cost, I guess. Draug summons the corpses of real people, he doesn't generate the golem from his body. I guess his blood can be used in the assembly as a reagent.
    3) Draug doesn't regenerate blood. I only put a time constraint on major/fatal wounds so he can't just bounce back immediately from getting his head chopped off.
    4) Fine, but I'm removing limitation on flesh golem for quests with approval.
    5) You're putting a cap on my God's Strength?! You're insane. How will I move continents at level 50? I guess bending prevaldia for now...
    6) Done.
    7) 5 posts then. It used to be 3. If you prefer, I can make it 10 minutes or 15 or something.
    8) What would it take for me to be able to summon large numbers of flesh hounds for it to be approved? They're sort of his cannon fodder unit. I don't need the big dog version if I can keep that. I removed the iron/acid thing and made it blood-based rather than number based.

    Alright, almost finished.

    1) I need you to limit Recoil to 2 uses.

    2) I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with flesh hounds if you can only summon 4 to begin with.

    3) You have several combo abilities: flesh golem (summon, extra strength, iron hide), the disease (contact w/ blood, spores), weapon/armor integration (two layers) and assimilation (stats, abilities). You are currently two abilities too high. You can remove any two you'd like, but I'd suggest focusing on one of those.

    4) You haven't done a quest with Abomination in years. Remove the "with permission in quest" tags completely. You can create a single golem and cannot use breeding pool at all right now without sacrificing something else.

    1) Done.

    2) Okay. I think a summoner character would have a very tough time on this site, unless as you said, they did nothing else other than summon, and never bought any equipment with abilities.

    3) No iron hide. No spores.

    4) Hey, I'm in an active quest right now! 2 years running!

So, I'm not sure if this was an oversight, you reduced it because you lost the iron armor, or if you were trying to slip one by me, but the amount of blood required to make the golem went down from .5x to .3x. Please change that back as I was including it while rating your power level (as an inherent weakness).
