Im sure there has been some rumors going around about these but what your guys thoughts on the matter. This sounds like the 'mark of the beast' to me, im completely against this idea.

The whitewater patriotism in the comments in that page made me hurl enough to throw the idea out the window.
That said, a tag system would be much more effective (they're stupidly hard to remove and can be signed in and out when the student arrives at, and leaves the school premises).
One of the comments was a reply after being bashed for qioting the bible, which read:
"So,im an american with an opinion!" No youre an idiot hsing an irrelevant bible passage.
I honestly believe that a chip is a bad idea, instead a bracelet that won't come off without a special key or code would do better. A chip is practically permanent while a bracelet would be easily removed.
I don't agree with this based on the fact that if someone wants to kill someone else really bad, they're going to do it regardless of what stands in their way or what the consequences may be.

You know there's a second option which works pretty well. You could have no guns to violence.
