Character Future Skills, Stuff, and Abilities

Do you have any talents or items planned for your character once you've saved up, levelled up, or completed that thread? Share!

Kaida is going to get two more magic abilities, one offensive and one serving as both, for level three. Level four she goes back to stats and physical improvements. Ashla will get a certain sword enhancement once I save enough money up.


What's some of your plans?

I think in my next level update I'm going to dump the Briarheart sun-fueled stat boosts and give Maddy regeneration instead.

I'm also looking to get some Pode's Curse abilities as well. On NPCs and potentially PCs, it'll have a Mr. Hyde effect where the afflicted mutates into something more primal for a brief period of time.

I'm also considering building up towards and Overdrive ability that will have various effects on all of the fungi, diseases, and acid Maddy carries around.

And then there's the immunity override ability I want...

[Luned]

I want the theme of Luned's abilities to pretty much be described as reality manipulation (things that affect the world as we know it –– time, space, memory, etc). At some point, I look forward to even making her a bit meta, so she can do things like read other characters' threads and sense OOC plotting. I don't really do battles, so I'd use it more as a plot device than anything –– give her a wonderful sense of impending doom before I put her through something particularly traumatizing, for example.

She and Resolve are like two sides of a coin. Their abilities seem similar, and perhaps they are because they learned from each other, but they're growing in different moral and conceptual directions. While Luned's going somewhere potentially very dangerous, Resolve's going to learn control that could possibly make her even more powerful in the end.



I never really think about items, but maybe I should! Kind of want a plains moose.

Here's some of my concepts for levels seven on:

- Ashla can cause light to shine into her ice that can burn and blind living things (magnifying glass to ant, much?)
- Ice Drought: Ashla can touch an object and freeze a certain percentage of liquid inside for so many times per thread. (You guys know the human body has a lot of water, right?)
- Ashla can create some kind of mirror or set of mirrors of ice that cast some kind of illusion.
- Ashla can teleport objects and people and somehow ice is involved.
- Ice dragon summon.
- "Melt off" irritant substances like ice?

[Jack Frost]

Vincent (Cards of Fate) is going to get an odd menagerie of magic of physical and magic based abilities making him more or less a spellsword type class. I also plan on him going artifact hunting and digging up a cool amount of toys to suit him up in a psuedo iron man type get up but maybe steam punk and if Iron man ran on the tap.

Jack is gonna get some really COOL techniques and some badass ice skills. At level twenty I plan on him being able to possibly channel ice mold levels of ice.

I've got a few things for Django lined up.

As far as weapons I want him to make himself a arm mounted canon that consumes black poweder and a small canon ball. It will basically work like a one shot per reload megabuster.

As far as talents or abilities.

Ancestral Anger- A rune within Django's claymore allows him to enter a state of berzerking rage that doubles all of his bodily capabilities. The ability grows more potent as he levels up.

Symphonic Synthesis- Using the arcane slant in his blood he can embolden his voice with arcane energy to either sway the minds of listeners, seduce the senses, or cause damage in one erupting shout. (Basically charm person and shouting from Skyrim along with some other minor tricks.)

SWEET! Timberwolves You went for my suggestion

Philomel is going to start to build up to using her dragon soon, manipulating his nature to be something of an earth-type volcano-type wyrm. Level five is going to be fun in terms of changing a couple of her stats and making her faster, and possibly giving her a healing ability. There is also something awesome coming that I am looking forwards to.

- Freeze in Fear: Ashla can cast a missile attack that causes a person to freeze up based upon their level of fear.
- SUMMON FREAKING ICE DRAGON!
- Ice Mirror: Ashla summons a mirror made of ice that does something cool and awesome and epic.
- Ashla can cast a spell that makes some type of summoned ice extremely hard to melt.
- Ashla has some ice fortress in some ruins she can teleport to.
