Synopsis:

The Crimson Hand is owned by one man, Lye Ulroke. He seeks to throw the world of Althanas into chaos and expose the dark nature of the world's nations. The Crimson Hands, a band of those mad enough to walk beside him, work to overturn the frail framework of lies built by Kings and leaders. Through the illusion of law, too many corrupted souls have perched upon the pinnacle of their Hierarchy. To bring those figures to their knees among their lowest charges is their goal and in the chaos of truth, they will reap money, power, and control.

Purpose:

We are what moves unseen in plain sight. We are the truth that lies buried beneath the lies. We are the Hand that reveals what most men would pay their lives to hide. The Crimson Hand seeks only to uncover the truth - There are no laws. There is no Order. What a man wants, he can have and by blade alone, can he prove it. The Crimson Hand seeks to teach this truth through whichever means they deem worthy. And in the chaos sewn by revelation, we will reap our just rewards as we deem fit.

History:

The Crimson Hand started with a single tortured soul. A man whose wife was torn from him by another and to which the government that swore to protect him imprisoned him for. In that cell grew an ideal - A purpose. It started as revenge, bloody and violent. As the wall of bodies towered between him and his humanity withered, he saw a simple truth.

Order, choice, and safety are all but an illusion cast upon the masses by those which rule on high.

The first incarnation of the Crimson Hand was born. Fabricated by the swords of ruffians and thugs, Lye sought out to do his work upon the world. In this, the island nation of Eiskalt was razed to the ground. A bloody battle that he illicited the armies of Alerar to participate. In the travesty, a white knight revealed itself in the form of the Ixian Knights. These numbered few sought it their duty to protect the innocent and provide security for those without. These Knights became Lye's first goal.

Through a series of well planned events featuring the aide of Aurelianus Drak'shal and Maddison Freebird, Lye finally succeeded in the destruction of the Knights. With Sei Orlouge's daughter dead, and the Avatar of Corone himself missing, the rest of the Knights disbanded. Now, their Ixian Castle stands as a hallowed memory of heroes once foolish enough to stand for those who couldn't defend themselves.

In the midst of this, an uprising was staged. Members of Lye's forces found his methods cruel and wasteful of human life. In the fray, he was imprisoned and tortured for an entire year by Madison Freedbird and Aurelianus Drak'shal. The absence of his presence caused the Crimson Hand to wither and disperse. Upon his release, the world greeted him anew, but without a sense of purpose. He roamed the land as a man between life and death for months. His harrowed form haunting the streets of Salvar, unable to die with Madison's Briartouch closely knit around his heart.

However, in recent light and revelation, the Assassin King has found renewed reason. Wiser, more cunning, and just as sinister, he has once again lit the fires of the Seventh Sanctum. Inside the walls of his Grand Hall, he waits upon a throne of human ivory as the message of his presence is made known again. Through the wings of his ravens, the world will once again know the call of The Crimson Hand.
