Okay, so I have to say this was probably the best birthday I have had in a long time, perhaps ever. Paintball was amazing. I haven't played in a few years so it was such a thrill to get back out there and shoot people and be shot. I mercy'd like three guys while we were playing, which I've never had the guts to do before. I shot a crapload of poeple and was shot a few times on my own. I've got some nice bruises to prove it too and I'm deliciously sore in all the right place.
Dinner was odd. Because they birthday happened to fall on a Monday today and today--July 1st--is Canada day, a lot of places were closed. So the first three restaurants we went to for dinner weren't open. But the fourth was one (phew). Then drinks right after that. It was a non stop day for me, one that I enjoyed immensely. Yes, I got drunk, no I don't have a hang over. Can you see pictures? Not yet, the batteries in my camera were dead, so my friend Liz took most of the pics last night. When I get them from her, you'll get them from me. ^^
