The Xangu shaman span through the throng, burying his stone studded bough in the thighs and guts of his unholy enemies. Dragon worshipping warriors were surging into the basin. Gum battered their bodies and sprayed their blood across the broad verdant leather of tropical undergrowth. Xangu humans and their pygmy rivals, the bestu, prayed to the Dheathain Pantheon. The natives were obliged to slay invading infidels with zeal. Two pygmy berserkers came thrashing through the vegetation, flanking Gum. Gum reared back with a sullen scowl at the arrival of his allies. The armourless pygmies violently clambered up the lanky torso of their iron laden foe. The first pushed back the man's helm, jabbing at his eyes, while the other slashed the freshly exposed throat.
hello friend
for fun i want to try it out a 250 word limit in a casual citadel thread with anybody who wants to come and get rekt. it's not a strict word limit, i'm not gonna copy/paste for a word count to check on you, if it flows a few over 250 and that's where the sweet spot is then so be it. honour system!
ty to anybody reading this and considering posting in this thread. throw up a placeholder if you wanna claim the spot? ;D

"Good work," the holy shaman's duty was to command the Pantheon's most devout on the battlefield.

"The shaman will face a foe he will not be able to overcome," assured a monk bulging with the confidence his cloaked anonymity provided.
The Ai'Bron worked with haste to usher the most talented challenger of the day towards the correct portal. The magical gateway was set to drop the next participant into a rainforest rumble with a Xangu shaman.
