What is the AP System?

Althanas Points, or AP, refers to the currency that can be earned through various site-wide activities, and exchanged for judgments. All members have the ability to accumulate AP. Some things earn more points than others, such as contributing to workshops, or having content accepted as cannon. Along the same line, more comprehensive judgments, such as full and condensed, cost more than basics and workshop submissions. No judgments are free, allowing writers who prefer the roleplaying aspect, and are not interested in receiving judgments of any kind, to still receive their EXP.

How is AP added and deducted?

All AP transactions will be handled by staff. You will not need to do a thing!

How is AP handled when a thread is written by multiple authors?

The AP will be deducted from whichever member submits it for judgment. The costs for judgments are standard, and will not change to reflect the number of authors. That means that a full judgment for a thread with ten writers will still only cost five AP.

How do I know how much AP I have?

Your AP count is located to the left of your posts, below your experience bar.

What else can I do with my AP?

If you are not interested in using your AP for judgments, you are able to cash them in for experience and gold at the following rate:
1 AP = 50 EXP
1 AP = 100 GP
You cannot exchange the opposite direction - 50 EXP or 100 GP will not earn you 1 AP. If you're interested in making an exchange, please contact a staff member.
