Nevin pushed onwards to the castle doors, large and imposing even in their partially ruined state. He frowned slightly - there should be the tracks of many people having gone to and fro here, the various adventurers that he knew had been coming to this area for a while. If not that, there should be signs of the cultists he was here to hunt, too many rumors of people obsessed with blood ran abound in this area. But no, there was no sign of any tracks, beyond one set - Joshua's from the man coming out. No sign of his entering shown in the dirt and rubble. How strange.
The alchemist straightened up from his examination of the ground and looked to see who had caught up already. It made him smile to see Ezra and Sketch taking with each other, though they had quieted down by the time they reached where he was standing. The two seemed amicable enough not to need his interference, so he just have a short wave to the dump. The other person nearby was Rainee -
And oh, did the cat-woman look downright pissed about something. That actually made both of his eyebrows rise into his hairline as he looked at her - when they had first met, the woman had been nothing if not kind and gentle... and far too curious. There had been none of this scarcely contained fury, nor the dark looks she shot back towards the camp. He looked towards it - and saw that there was a figure there he did not recognize. Was this someone Rainee knew, and detested? Or had something happened that he didn't hear as he left? Hmm.she let me pled like she could use a distraction.
"Hello again Miss Rainee, we didn't get much chance to talk back at camp. I'm quite sorry about your getting involved in this rumors - I've tried to talk to people about them, but they just smile behind their hands and go on with them anyway. I'll keep working on them though. That aside - how is young Mylie? I hope she's still doing well? And, shall we?" Soft, measured footsteps had carried him over to her, his tone apologetic until he asked about her daughter. Then, with a smile he had gestured to the imposing doors, before moving over to them.
With a mild effort, he shoved the large doors open, grunting slightly in exertion as he fought the rust in the hinges. With a loud, creaking groan they swung open - and Nevin stumbled inside, disappearing from sight. All that remained was the gaping doorway, with dark black inside cutting off all sight from the outside.
