Coming to here, this is a grand ballroom - massive in scope, easily spanning hundreds of yards. A beautiful tile floor, lacquered and polished, rests beneath the feet of those present, worn only slightly by the hundreds of feet that have moved across it in the years it has been in place. Hanging from the large, vaulted ceiling is a series of ornate chandeliers, delicate teardrops of crystals hanging below candles, catching and scattering their light in a dazzling array of colors across the chamber.

The chamber was... Strangely not empty. Intricate organ music played from the far end of the hall, echoing and reverberating across the tile and off of the stone walls and columns. In the distance the piano player is barely visible - the pipe organ is swathed in shadows, with only a single, solitary lamp flickering above the piano keys, silhouetting the player. As soon as a footstep is taken from arrival - ghostly figures swinging view, swaying back and forth through the hall, moving around in an intricate waltz. Half of the figures are men, dressed in noblemen's clothes, their vests in either red or blue, while the other half, the women, were dressed in yellow or light green ballgowns.

The dancing figures, even when close, have featureless faces, and their feet don't quite touch the ground as they move around in their complicated dance. Getting too close sends intense chills into those near, and accidental contact sends a sting of literal freezing pain from the point of contact. Far above the organ player hangs a glowing sigil, which as you watch, slowly sinks down to the figure and vanishes.
