And we're off!
And we're off!
As a general guide I'd like us to not kill the beast but rather calm it down. As it is a guardian of the local forest area it makes sense to get it to a level where we can get it to listen. That might mean defeating it almost. It needs to be able to retake over its position as guardian in the end.
In terms of powers I'm thinking sky and weather. So as Leopold went with, lightening, air manipulation etc. Maybe a thunderous voice?
I'm thinking also we can centre it on a certain village that we need to save.
Sounds good to me. I'm picturing Quetza as it is in FF8 - but happy to go with the majority, it's your show Phi!
I think we've gone for without any legs or claws, and pretty big. In final fantasy if I remember the Quetzalcoatl is pretty bird like, and I'd usually go for something a bit snakey obvious, either feathered or scaled. Maybe both in certain places. Colour ... Green if you are thinking FF or blue? Both? Length ... 50ft too long? Feathered wings definitely. Trying to get a description so we can all go with.
Colours: green and blue
Length: 50ft
Wingspan: 40ft
Snake like body
Feathered wings
Feathers and scales on body, head more scaley.

This is what I think of when I think of quetzalcoatl.
- "We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood; Fear the old blood."
Nevin: Formal, thoughtful, nurturing, bearer of tropey tentacles.
"More threads! More! Threads for the Crimson Thread King!"
A member of the NevCrew:
Nevin: Thread count: please, don't try.
Erik: Thread count: five or six. Maybe seven...
Huntsman: seven. Maybe eight. Shhhhhhh.
Telli' thread count: zero. I just can't get into writing the little hellion.
Ronnel: Not even approved yet.
I'll have a post up tomorrow at the latest.
"I have looked upon all that the universe has to hold of horror, and even the skies of spring and the flowers of summer must ever afterward be poison to me." - Call of Cthulhu
David vs. Goliath: History's first recorded critical hit.
I more think of Nevin's, but I like the FF one. It's magnificent. I still see 'bird' in it, probably shape of the head?
Is what I put before a good description?
Also if you see post 9 that was my original idea. See post 25 for specifics on size.
Feel free though to go mad on other details.
Another image.
