[SOLO] This unit doesn't think we're on the Cyberiad anymore, toto...

This takes place directly after Spark is thrust into the realm of Althanas. Prior to the events of the bar scene or The Wayward Soul, this thread is to give an insight as to what happened after the experiment gone awry. As such, this thread is closed, solely dedicated to Spark alone.

    ---

...Morpheus Integrated Positronic Chassis reboot complete...
    ...Analyzing components...
WARNING: INTERNAL CELL POWER LEVELS OVERLOADED, UNKNOWN POWER SOURCE ATTACHED TO CELL
WARNING: SEVERAL MODULES OFFLINE. WIRELESS ACCESS CAPABILITIES OFFLINE. WIRED ACCESS CAPABILITIES OFFLINE. INTERNAL DAMAGE SUSTAINED. POWER SUCCESSFULLY REROUTED, DISABLING DAMAGED CABLING TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE...
BASIC SYSTEM FUNCTIONS ALL ONLINE... ACTIVATING MOTOR SYSTEMS.

Spark's optics slowly activated, and the robot slowly sat up, staring at the environment around it. All around it were barren, dead trees. The ground below it was similarly ill looking. Before it even bothered to stand, Spark ran a quick diagnostic scan of its chassis, mostly alarmed by the power cell alert.

Power cell anomaly detected. Cell stabilized and functional.
    ...
    Abnormal plasma coating surrounding powercell.

Spark actual buzzes. Generally, plasma being placed into power cells caused explosions when used... Spark examines its power levels.

    115%

    Another buzz. This wasn't right.

    115.1%

...And a third buzz. Not only was Spark constantly recharging, it was overloading the cell without any method of stopping it. The synthetic stands now, physically looking over the rest of its chassis. Besides some minor dents and a few damaged protruding wires, the robot was otherwise unharmed. Even its clothing was relatively intact. A quick examination of its APC cable indicated it was, indeed, completely broken, the ends frayed and torn. Spark retracted the cable back into its arm, and was about to examine the environment when a suddenly beep of alarm catches its attention. From within Spark's satchel, a robotic feline head slowly pokes its way out, alarmed and confused.

"...What happened? Why is this unit damaged? Where did-" it seems to take in the environment itself. "...Inquiry: where the fuck is this?" Spark 5.5m begins to rapidly examine its GPS systems... but nothing appears. Neither a world name, a galaxy quadrant... or even a vague system coordinate. "...This unit's GPS systems should be functioning correctly. Nothing is appearing." it states to Spark actual. "There is the possibility of something jamming it, but this unit could trace that..."

Spark actual buzzes yet again as it looks around the odd forest. "...Only one way to find out." it states, slowly unslinging the kinetic accelerator from its back, holding it in both arms carefully, ready to shoot at a moment's notice. It begins to slowly march forward through the forest...

    ((HI))
"...Unit would think it would have found something by now."

It's been a few hours since Spark has started to trudge through the forest. It's been a fairly quiet walk, only the sound of Spark's boots crunching the dead leaves and branches below, and, very occasionally, a faint wind.

Mobile, still hanging out in Spark Actual's bag, emits a small beep.
    "Affirmative..."

Spark slowly comes to a halt. The weapon they carry is lowered as they start to examine their surroundings carefully.

"...So none of your wireless functions are active? Wired?"

    "Negative. Yours?"

    "...Also negative."

They both emit a small buzz in dissatisfaction.

The forest itself looks much the same to Spark, as it has for the past few hours. There's nothing that particularly sticks out.

"Perhaps climbing a tree?" mobile offers.

    Spark shakes their head.
"Negative. These trees might crumble with the slightest amounts of force, judging by their looks. And, until this unit can properly analyze and repair you, it would be best if you didn't stray away."

    Another synchronized buzz.

Spark's concerns are only further elevated as a small warning spreads across their internal HUD.
Warning: Internal power cell ratings at 130%.

"This power cell issue isn't helping matters either, unit reports."
Spark begins quietly walking again, their monitor-head on a swivel, scanning their surroundings still.
"Perhaps it would be best to-"

Suddenly, Spark's Kinetic Accelerator is aimed at something to their right, the robot's movements alert and poised.

"...What?" Mobile quietly asks. They stare off in the direction Actual is looking at now.

It's hard to make out, but... there seems to be an outline of a humanoid figure off in the distance.
