    PERSONALITY
    Amari is no longer the sweet kind girl hiding behind a cold brash demeanour. The cruel uncaring being she has become is what you get, inside and out. Her loyalty is only worth the deals you make with her. She keeps her word, and will vehemently fight to ensure any terms she agrees to are met, but any ties created out of previous bonds and emotions do not exist to her. Amari, as corrupted as she is, struggles to feel any sort of emotion, and as such her actions are much more calculated and are fuelled by her desires to see things break, and to destroy order.

    Despite her cruelty and lack of emotion, Amari will not actively seek out destruction and the taking of lives. Her actions, whilst ruthless and cold-blooded are not without reason. If she sees a reason in doing something, she will do so. Killing for the sake of killing is pointless in her eyes.

    Those who once knew her before the polarity shift of her soul actively seek out any remnants of who she once was. If they look hard enough they will find snippets of her former self, especially if she is in close proximity to a vial containing an untainted section of her soul, or Shinsou Vaan Osiris who created a conection with her when she healed the tear in his soul. These two things will cause the entity known as 'Scarlet' to feel emotions, as a risidual effect.

    Her skin has now started splitting, cracks becoming larger; her left arm in particular has a wide crack in which her soul leaks out; it hangs around the wound like a sparse clouded mist. A darkness that wrenches the heart. She's begining to become so corrupted she's loosing her sense of self, this is the begining of the end.

    If this continues, Amari... Scarlet, they will cease to exist.

    COMMERCE:INTERMEDIATE
    Amari has a sound knowledge of noble trading routes, lands, regions and agreements. Her knowledge of this within the Salvar region is expanse, however other regions she currently has little knowledge.
    COOKING: MASTER
    Living most of her life in servitude to her noble family, and having access to the highest quality ingredients and tools has given Amari cooking skills that are on par with the master chefs of Althanas.
    SEWING/NEEDLECRAFT
    Living most of her life in servitude to her noble family has earned Amari immaculate sewing abilities, she can create, fix and mend cloth, silks, and leathers.
    LOCKPICKING: ADVANCED
    Living with bandits, in the slums, and being friends with a pesky frost fae has taught Amari how to pick most generic locks. She cannot pick arcane or enchanted metals or locks.
    INFILTRATION: INTERMEDIATE
    Amari has learnt to infiltrate various organisations and groups by working closely with Lichensith Ulroke and the Hand. However this now proves difficult due to her notoriety and crimson visage.

    Having experienced a number of them at the hands of her brother, Amari has the knowledge of sigils and their meanings, She is also working with Aurelianus to further her knowledge.
    TORTURE: ADVANCED
    Subjected to it for years, Amari has taken a personal interest in learning and inflicting such methods upon friend and foe alike
    SWORDPLAY: INTERMEDIATE
    Amari never cared for physical weapons, her race isn't adept at using them. However after obtaining the Crystal Sword of the snake she has studied and learned basic fighting stances and positions, she is able to hold her own using the sword.
    ABILITIES

    Corrupted Souls Sway: Passive
    Due to the origins of her soul, Amari has an uncanny ability yo affect not only nature and wildlife around her, but those susceptible to suggestion. Hr soul, being a corrupted Ar'Tuel adversely affects nature and natural matter around her. This is a constant passive effect however Amari can consciously stop it if she notices it happening and concentrates enough. The air around her constantly feels thick and suffocating with the unease of death. Adverse effects can include the wilting and decay of plant life, and materials made of natural things such as wooden tables, chairs, structures, etc. She can affect peoples emotional states around her, causing them to anger easily or be upset easily. However for this to affect sentient beings they must be weak willed or have her physically touching them. Her ability can affect the emotional states of players who are lower levelled than her, the extent of the emotional effect depends on the players willpower and empathy.


    Ar'Tuel Soul Reborn lv: 8
    Due to her Ar'Tuel origins, Amari has a very strong soul. Her physical body and mentality are very much human and can easily be broken and battered. Her soul however is not, and burns with an unyielding ferocity that cannot be broken so easily. This also means, that if the proper care is taken, Amari can be bought back from death multiple times. This can be achieved by placing a drop of blood on the runic birthmark on her lower back, just below her spine. (This technique should only be used thrice per thread) Once bought back, her body wil heal to the point just before death. This can heal minor wounds, scratches and mend broken bones and tissue. It can heal even the deepest of wounds but does not relieve her of pain. Due to the strength of her soul, she can now be reborn TWICE per thread without the need of placing blood upon her sigil.
    -Not for use in the Citadel or Tournaments

    Ar'Tuel Accelerated Healing LV: 9
    with the corruption of her soul Amari has lost the ability to heal others, but not herself. She has accelerated healing abilities and can heal her own injuries. Amari doesn't have to concentrate on her wounds, as her body will automatically heal them. When healing, she cannot ail herself of the pain, and as such will have to fight through it.
    Duration: 1 post to heal deep burns, scratches, wounds, bleeding, abrasions. 2 posts to heal deep wounds, abrasions and broken/cracked bones
    This can be used up to 9 times in a thread. (9 wounds)

    Ar'Tuel Ruin LV9
    Amari is able to implement wounds, abrasions, burns and bruises. She is able to affect skin and muscle tissue, and break bone. She is also able to rot flesh and poison the blood stream. She does this by gently touching the area with her hands, palms, fingers and skin to skin contact with the will and desire to injure the person. She can break open their skin as though her fingers were like a knife (Delyn tier skin), cause their skin to bubble, burn (4th Degree) etc.

    At level 9 she can affect the blood flow and the heart, even causing death. Constant use and practise of this ability has given Amari the skills to tactfully glide her had through skin, flesh and bone, causing immense pain.
    -Her ability cannot cause death in the Citadel or tournaments.

    Soul Bound Snakes
    Formally taking the form of tentacles these protrusions now look like slithering snakes, their heads similar to that of a black adder. She is able to manifest her soul's abilities in the form of six glowing snakes that extend from her back. These 'snakes' are a crackling red colour, a symbol of her corrupted soul magic. She can use these whips with a radius of 35 feet.

    They have the same capabilities as her 'Ar Tuel Ruin Magic' She can use this ability a total of 10 times per thread. If she uses the 6 snakelike appendages on 6 different people at once, that counts as 6 uses due to the concentration being on 6 people.

    These snake like protrusions are ethereal and cannot pick up things; nor can they be blocked by physical items. They are able to pass through non-enchanted armour and skin. They move at 5 times the speed of a regular human.
    The ability to cause death cannot be used in the Citadel nor in Tournaments.

    Past to Present: Recall
    Amari is able to force someone to relive a moment she has experienced as though they were experiencing it themselves. These moments could be ones of lust, happiness, or great pain. Whomever the person is will experience the memory in its entirety and will also experience the physical and emotional sensations of it, along with the thoughts Amari has at the time the memory occurred. To do this she needs to have at least a thumb or forefinger on each side of the persons head and she needs to concentrate on the memory. If her concentration is interrupted the skill is interrupted too. This skill leaves no physical wounds, it is primarily used as mental torture or to relay information to others quickly and efficiently.

    This can be used up to 5 times per thread, as long as the total memory recall time does not exceed 5 hours.

    Past to Present: Recall - Memory Sight.
    Utilising the same skills as her 'Past to Present: Recall' Ability, Amari is able to see into anothers mind and find their memories. Even if the memories are lost to the person, or the person does not remember them. When she is viewing them, she views them through the eyes of the person. The person will also experience the memory, which enables them to remember something which had been forgotten. To do this she needs to have at least a thumb or forefinger on each side of the persons head and she needs to concentrate on the memory. If her concentration is interrupted the skill is interrupted too. This skill leaves no physical wounds, it is primarily used to gain and/or share information.

    This can be used up to 2 times per thread, as long as the total memory recall time does not exceed 5 hours.


    Indomitable Will
    Amari has always been incredibly stubborn and wilful. That has grown since she has been forced under Licensith Ulroke's 'care' she is very resilient and extremely strong willed. She is not easily swayed or controlled. She is able to resist most mind controlling substances/concoctions/potions/magics as well as physical programming. She can resist mind control abilities and techniques that are below her current level. With great difficulty she has the possibility to fall under the sway of abilities that match her level, but is able to fight it. Abilities and concoctions/magic/potions above her level, she falls sway to.


    Noble Commerce
    Learning more and more about her noble background and with the push of Lichensith, Amari has taken over the L'Olfsden Estate, and is slowly spreading her control to other noble provinces within Salvar. Her knowledge on the matter continues to grow. This ability gives Amari 15% extra gold gain per level.

    Pain Tolerance (Passive)
    Due to the immense torture from Licehnsith Ulrolke and Aurelianus, Amari has an unusually high tolerance for pain. Amari can withstand things that would normally render someone unconscious. She can fight through pain that would normally incapacitate someone. She could have her arm ripped off and still fight through the pain.

    Astral Form-Locked due to unstable soul
    As Amari is an ethereal being she can leave her body. She can use her "Ar'Tuel Ruin" ability and "Souls Sway" ability in this form. At level 8 she can interact with a few physical objects in the physical world, burning through woods, cotton, and leather. She can melt away some locks, chains and ropes. She can also interact with and use her abilities on living beings and entities. She can stay in this form for 3 posts before she feels weakened and needs to return to her body. If her body is severely injured or in mortal danger she will immediately be thrown back into her body. Amari can always find her physical body due to a chain that connects her ethereal form to her physical form. She can use this ability twice per thread.


    Increased Agility
    Amari has increased agility, powered by the mana pumping through her soul and body. She can move at up to 5X the speed of a normal Althanian.



    Binding Cold Soul: (Passive)
    Due to a powerful bond with Shinsou Van Osiris Amari has inadvertently picked up one of his abilities. She has 100% resistance to the element of ice. This allows her to survive in harsh arctic climates with little clothing and will only suffer light trauma wounds from the force of physically damaging ice spells. She remains unaffected by any other ice elemental magic. This ability is passive, and thus always active. If Shinsou Van Osiris dies, or looses his soul Amari looses this ability.


    EQUIPMENT

    A small damascus ring with the following use:
    When worn if the user wills it; from the ring a thin spiked rod extends up to approximately 15-20 inches. This rod is credibly sharp and can pierce leather class skin. It can kill if aimed correctly, however only leaves a small hole around 3-5 millimetres deep in diameter

    This black leather coat is enchanted to have the strength of steel protection when it comes to cuts and blunt force, it otherwise acts as a plain leather coat. It was named by the Elf who enchanted it who was high on an array of herbs

    Crystal Sword of the Snake - Obtained Here
    She, the snake blade, is one of the twelve zodiac crystal swords. The blade is a burning light red with a black hilt. She's element is a smouldering fire. The weapon is a sword composed of a strange crystal the strength o fmythril. She has two magical effects:
    Venom - The sword drips with thick red liquid for four posts that burns through anything it touches. Able to burn through leather and flesh easily, it weakens steel and is able to burn through on two strikes. Because the sword drips acid it is possible to flick a few drops at a target for some painful superficial damage (One Use)
    Bite -The blade of She turns into a snake, able to bend, twist, and most importantly strike. Anyone bitten by She is injected with fire venom that burns below the skin and inflicts intense pain and eats away at the flesh for two inches around the strike. A bite to an arm can render it useless as the muscles are burnt away. A strike to the neck would be deadly. She can inflict two bites a day and stay in the snake form for as long as she has one bite left. The downside is that she is nearly useless as a sword in this form and looses her sharp edge. If she is struck while in this form she will revert to her sword form and loose one of her bites.


    FAMILIARS
    A few crows from Lichensith Ulroke's flock broke away from his service to instead serve Amari due to her kindness toward the creatures. there are 9 in total who keep a watchful eye on her. They are not always with her, nor do all of them always follow her. These crows are normal birds, they do however listen to Amari when she issues them simple orders such as relaying messages to others. They are not for combat. Their names are:

    HISTORY
    L'Olfsden is a noble family nestled in the upper class residencies of Salvar. Amari has a father, older brother and deceased mother. Her mother had multiple complications throughout her pregnancy with Amari, and when she was born, her mother died. It was assumed she was not the Dukes daughter, judging by her appearance. Many said her mother had bed another man but unbeknown-st to anyone, the 'other man' was a powerful wandering female spirit who begged her mother to take shelter within her, and to become her unborn child. Amari was that spirit. Her soul burns brightly, a millennia old being with no current memories of her origins or past.

    Her red hair and her central heterochromia eyes granted her the namesake 'cursed child of sin; as such she was treated as an eyesore - and a chore by her father. At a young age it was discovered that she could wield a very weak magic nicknamed 'flowermancy'. Her skill was beaten out of her, and Amari never got the chance to grow or nurture her gift. She has other various magic abilities but they are untamed and unknown.

    Although she bore the ire of her father, she lived a relative life of luxury at a younger age. She was denied an education but her older brother, be it out of pity or a sense of family duty, taught her to read and write. Her brother never shared the same sentiments as her father, and often went out of his way to treat her as part of the family, until he came of age. Lamont chose family notoriety and fortune over Amari, and broke her heart. She believed he was the only one close to her, never once realising her brothers more nefarious tendencies and plans.

    Amari was forbidden to leave the family estate but it did not stop her taking long strolls around its perimeter. This small act of rebellion is what caught the attention of bandits. Seeing a young girl of noble birth away from any sort of guards or protection - it made sense to kidnap her and hold her for ransom.

    Just shy of her 18th birthday Amari was told by her father that she were to prepare to leave for the Church of Etheral Sway. She was told tehy would 'take care' of her henceforth. Amari, not being well read knew little of the church, its teachings, or its rumours and history. Despite this, she was not pleased, and that night - chose to break her fathers strict ruling and left the safety of the family owned land. The bandits were waiting and had jumped her, knocked her unconscious and took her bound and gagged.

    The bandits held her for ransom but her father was a cheap man, and would have rather had her disposed of. To him this was just gratuitous circumstance in his eyes. Seeing Amari as a lost cause the bandits had planned to have their way with her, one was unnerved by the ferocity in her eyes - and how the gold hues that surrounded her iris' almost seemed to be alight with fury. Amari used this to her advantage. She made up a tale of how she was diseased, plagued, and its why no one would touch her - and why her father would rather have her gone. This didn't stop the one man from trying. However he had chosen to eat a very toxic concoction of berries the night before, and not long after attempting to bed her- he fell ill and died. Rumours spread like wildfire and she was left untouched. Not having to want to waste the entirety of their efforts, the bandits kept Amari there as a live in slave. Doing menial tasks such as cooking, cleaning, housework, even bathing the bandits. Soon they had her accompanying them against her will on a variety of raids, cartels, and smuggling. During her time with them she picked up a few skills such as lockpicking, stealth and pickpocketing.

    When Amari was 24 the bandits began to delve into slave trading, their first captive was a young fae boy named Fennik. Amari instantly developed a rapport with him, and assumed he was a young child. However, soon, she realized he was a grumpy middle aged man. She still assisted in his escape, which only further barred her own. The bandits reinforced her quarters and ensured she was always chained up to prevent her escape. The beatings grew far harsher from this point on.

    After rounding up more slaves, part of the bandit troupe headed toward Knifes Edge where a renowned brother resided. There, Amari encountered Aurelianus within the house of sin, and there, she felt and experienced the true terror of the demon and his fleshcrafting. Aurelianus was a terrifying man, but not one who would keep people against their will - so when two of the bandit troupe came to rescue Amari he left her go willingly with a parting warning.

    Shinsou Vaan Osiris rescured her at the age of 25 from the bandits. He happened upon them whilst relentlessly hunting for slavers. He took Amari in, and the two grew close. HE guided her toward a Brotherhood encampment on the edge of Corone. Amari slowly began to fall for him, but was afraid of showing her emotions. She could see how set he was on finding Slavers and watched him train and grow in strength. Just as Amari was going to admit her feelings to him. Shinsou's father appeared and both he, and Shinsou left. Shinsou promised her he would return and in the mean time left her in the care of the brotherhood. Unfortunately one of the members tried to force himself upon Amari, and in the end was killed. Accidentally pushed out the window by Amari. Another member, who was a deep cover spy tricked her into believing Shinsou was nothing more than a playboy, and because Amari had yet to put out, he was bored of her and never truly planned to return to her, which is why he was so distant. The man convinced Amari that Shinsou would have her drawn and hung if he came back to a dead soldier. Heartbroken and afraid, she wrote Shinsou a letter outlining her adoration, love and respect for him - and her own cowardice for not wanting to die by his hand. She left it in a place she thought he would find it, and ran away.

    At age 27, after having abandoned the Brotherhood of the Castigars; Amari finally settled down in the slums of Rubbletown. Her vibrant, crimson hair tied up in a messy bun and hidden by a soiled cloth. Avoiding attention where possibly was not only preferable but necessary for survival. Her busty chest bound with cloth and rope, to avoid the ever searching eyes of the salve traders. Being a noble, and closeted to the finer pleasures of life...Amari was of virgin blood. An oddity at her age to be sure. She has spent the last few years in the slums scourging for food, talking her way to the rare hot meal and warm bed, and avoiding any serious trouble.

    Alas...

    Amari with her sharp tongue, defiant nature and stubborn attitude often found herself in some form of trouble or turmoil within the slums. She had an odd sense of justice, often siding with the underdog, or whomever she feels is 'right' at the time. Regardless of their moral ground.

    That nature of hers saved her life the day she met Lichensith Ulroke, he immediately took an interest in her and spared her life. Death may have been the better option. He took her has his personal word and project. The assassin began placing her through gruelling physical and mental torture. A form of 'therapy'. he allowed Aurelianus to experiment on her and performed his own equally gruelling and taxing experiments.

    Being beaten, bruised and bought back from death took its toll on Amari, it caused the polarity of her soul to begin to shift and crack. Amari became bound to Lichensith, she served not only under him but beside him, vowing to keep him in check to ensure he doesn't repeat the mistakes of his past.

    Amari met Jake in her travels, and despite his annoyingly chirpy persona, she found comfort in being able to call the man her friend. She would frequently catch up with him despite Lichensith Ulroke making an appearance and stating that she had no time for 'such unnecessary things'

    During a quest for the Crimson Hand Amari comes across Fenn and Vincent. After an alteration, Vincent throws her halfway across Althanas, and Amari felt betrayed be fFEnn, who went along with whatever Vince had said. She decided to steel herself away from anyone who chose to associate with the Tarot.

    She rekindled her love with Shinsou Van Osiris, only to watch him die in battle. She tried searching for him for months after the death to find any semblance that he was alive, but she found nothing, and got no response. She tried to piece together her broken heart, all the while fighting the corruption insdie of her. It wasn't until she met Taka that she realised she didn't have to live such a precarious life tilting on the edge proverbial darkness and light. He was a general of the Ixian Knights, a sworn enemy of the Crimson hand. Despite this he quickly forgives her after her actions during the Akashimian war, and her involvement with the flooding of Yanbo Port. The two build a connection, albeit unstable, due to his vigilance and her regrets and love for Shinsou.

    She returned to the Crimson Hand and to Ulroke in hopes of trying to get him to calm his arrogant ways. Instead, she fell right into his waiting hands, and using Taka as a bargaining tool - Lichensith got what he had always wanted. An emotionless monster.

    Amari had seemingly become completely corrupted. She has cast away her old name and now goes by the mantle of 'Scarlet' she began to strike at those who were once close to her, dehumanising Taka, injuring Fenn then Jake. 'Scarlet' has her sights set on something more, she wants to instil anarchy within Althanas, a levelled chaos.

    But something stirs within the Cirmson Hand... for as many friends as Amari has made, Lichensith has made enemies, her breaking was the final straw. And now many are out for his blood.

    Unbeknowst to Amari, she is currently 3 months with child. Richard; her advisor and Alchemist knows and has deduced that it either belongs to Shinsou Van Osiris, or Lichensith Ulroke. This causes her to feel feverish and constant nausea, fever due to her soul trying to keep two entities alive, and nausea - well, that is spoken for now, isn't it?

    I'd say the tolerance borderlines not being bothered by pain at all, (she still feels it and the wounds can still impede her) but the pain caused by them does not. Since level around 5 she's been able to tolerate severe pain like withstanding the feeling of all her bones cracking and moving (lyes shared pain ability) she's been able to endure wounds to apendages and still fight (not with said appendage, thats just silly) She's been able to keep moving after being sliced, diced, burnt. etc. etc.
